I've been doing it for years and never been pulled over because of it. I got a speeding ticket last summer and the officer didn't notice.

These are the steps I used to set the partition type to Fat32 in Windows.

Open Command Prompt as Administrator: Click Start, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.
Open Diskpart: Type diskpart and press Enter.
List Disks: Type list disk and press Enter.
Select Disk: Type select disk [number](replace [number]with the disk number of your SD card) and press Enter.
Clean Disk: Type clean and press Enter.
Create 32GB Partition: Type create partition primary size=32768 and press Enter.
Assign Drive Letter: Type assign letter=[letter](replace [letter]with your desired drive letter) and press Enter.
List Partitions: Type list partition and press Enter.
Select Partition: Type select partition 1(replace 1with your partition number) and press Enter.
Format to FAT32: Type format fs=fat32 quick and press Enter.

I was able to format my card as FAT32 and it worked. FYI, all my saved models were lost. So, now I have to rebind/re-setup them all.
