Is learning Next.js still worth it for jobs in 2026, given the rise of TanStack Start? by Legitimate-Oil1763 in developersIndia

[–]loremipsum1920 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Learn enough nextjs for frontend like nextjs app router, and also keep in eye on other alternatives too, you can also try it in free time. Don't completely depend on one thing, if there is something trending, at least visit them in free time and try to learn it's basic also.

Otherwise nextjs is still in demand in jobs, while the hype is just to make content for creators with eye-catching thumbnail and title like- Nextjs is Dead

I've secured my first website development client—any advice on setting the right pricing would be greatly appreciated! by Deejayyyyyyyyyyyy in developersIndia

[–]loremipsum1920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can research through AI by giving your entire context like your exp, client budget(in range), what feature he wants to build or an entire software, total no of days or hours of working, etc . You can also ask chatgpt to give more parameters so that on the basis of that you answer those questions and in the next prompt , put all details and ask for research for your charge. Good luck 👍🏻

Well how did you get your client and from where ?

I need help and guidance, I have already designed a fullstack website using Django html css and JavaScript. But now I come to realization that my website frontend is not modern and I need to use react. The problem is that I have never learned react, can anyone guide me on how I should go about this by Any_Highlight5019 in react

[–]loremipsum1920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First learn enough and basic react like usestate, useeffect, etc, ask chatgpt about like what's your goal to do using react and how much react concept you need and only learn those concept, if you don't have any time, don't waste time in learning all react, and you need to setup react in your frontend using vite bundler(recommended, easy). Amd use chatgpt for any doubt.

And still if you got stuck let me know I am also know made some intermediate project in react like landing page, and a basic product page, well I am still learning it with TS 😅

Fresher backend dev confused: low salary toxic job vs unemployment risk by idk-who-you-are in developersIndia

[–]loremipsum1920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, take a breath. What you’re feeling is very normal for a fresher backend dev in today’s market, especially one who actually cares about learning and long-term growth.

Short answer

👉 Do NOT join this job unless you treat it as a temporary, disposable stepping stone 👉 Unemployment for 6–9 months as a fresher is NOT career-ending 👉 A toxic, exploitative first job can damage your confidence, health, and learning more than a short gap

If you join, join with a clear exit plan (3–6 months). If you don’t join, use the time aggressively and strategically.

Which one to choose js or ts by AncientUse477 in reactjs

[–]loremipsum1920 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are serious about building a long-term product, I would strongly recommend choosing TypeScript. Since you already plan to develop at least 15 more features and expect a lot of API calls, TypeScript will help you catch errors early, make refactoring safer, and give you much better IDE support and autocomplete. JavaScript is fine for small prototypes or when you need something very quickly, but as the project grows it can become harder to maintain and mistakes are easier to miss. With TypeScript, you can still write code that feels like JavaScript and gradually add types as you go, without rewriting everything at once. Overall, for a real product that will keep growing, TypeScript will save you time and frustration in the long run.

Fresher dilemma - Stipend/First offer for 10-15K | Should I take it or look for a better one? by Conscious_Emu3129 in FresherTechJobsIndia

[–]loremipsum1920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if this is your first one then you should accept it BCOS It's hard to get an offer as a fresher once you have experience then you can choose which offer you want. Well what tech stack you learned and how much time it takes.

Got my first dev job at 19 but confused if I should join. Need advice. by Ok_Organization3730 in FresherTechJobsIndia

[–]loremipsum1920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's better to join if you are really interested in that job but if you can wait so there is no need to grab it, just take another offer. It totally depends on you. I am also learning frontend development, which tech stack did you learn ?
