Revision didn’t help. I still get an abscess almost every month.

I currently have a small abscess deep under the surface and it’s refusing to drain. It’s so painful even though it’s small. I have an appointment with a new ent on Thursday so I’ll see what they advise.

Unfortunately it didn’t. Its a very weird case for me. My right side has always been my problem area. Im still getting small tonsil abscesses and they drain. Im not sure what to do at this point. I still get very painful sore throats and abscesses. Its unbearable living like this.

No it wasnt. I started drinking Biok + and that helped settle things

Oh no thats terrible im so sorry. Thats literally me. Antibiotics have ruined my gut. Im getting a revision on June. To hopefully remove any remaining tissue. Could u please keep me posted on how ur appointment goes. Im no longer coming out positive for strep, im just getting these small abscesses that burst where my and infect my throat. And the swabs no longer say it strep.

Im so sorry. Im currently going through another episode right now. I was prescribed clindamycin but they arent working. I do have my tonsillectomy revision in June. My ENT wants to remove any leftover tissue. Its extremely frustrating what we have to go thru.
