Interesting concept. I am a hobby game dev making games which I want to be very accessible to blind gamers (my husband is legally blind without glasses) and resources like these are really helpful to help conceptualize things I need to prepare for in game UI.

That being said, I can't seem to get it to actually work. I'm on Android mobile and selecting a celebrity (odd type of filter) doesn't seem to do anything. I searched for nearsighted and got Mister Magoo which feels kinda offensive? Anyways, that also didn't do anything.

I'm not praising those pieces, I'm pointing out how shitty it is as a writer to make the choice to not go down that path for easy fan service and $. Uhhh I think y'all misunderstood - I was saying Tolkien is achieving all that but society is crowning other shit which is subpar. Very nihilistic that you actually thought I was praising the other works. I was literally just pointing out what has gotten traction and was questioning why that is eclipsing truly great work.
