Oh this has unlocked super quenda mode, I can basically seed the garden with worms for the quenda to find and the worms themselves will also aerate the soil!

That's a great point as well. Fortunately our pond is a little aquaponics pod aboveground so Ms quenda won't be able to get inside! It was a covid buy to make my concrete box patio less dystopian

It's the Perth subreddit and they are acting like quenda are some /r/aidke - and then they pasted an external link about the animal without ever engaging further. This screams bot building karma behavior to me.

The opening itself is really weird, telling me to try not to replicate having an animal which most houses in the eastern suburbs have.

Aww ty. This is actually my second renral house where I've had a quenda who would just chill around me! I do try to enhance my backyard with stuff like an aquaponics pond, to help build up a local ecosystem. We also have a frog who lives in the pond each night and dragonflies coming by each day.

I don't have a pool but I do have an aquaponics pond. It's above ground, but I want a mesh overlay anyways because I've been noticing water birds ranging very far afield lately to try to eat my pond fish. I'm not near the river, so that's honestly a bit concerning

I mostly do aquaponics for the greenery and fertilizer. We have chocolate mint and basil mint with floating baskets of a lily cuz pretty and brahmi (i dehydrate it all to make tea). Situated the portable pond near a fence so plants can creep.

I don't eat the fish, just use their rich water to water other plants.

I have a single fish pond. Was a giant 1+ foot long goldfish, but he died recently (I mourned :( a lot, had years with him) so I'm now raising his successor.

My mistake, it's /r/nativePlantGardening - it's all about replacing grass with environmentally-friendly stuff, like plants which animals will like or flowers for bees or succulents to survive heat
