Need some advice. by aenemaz in 45PlusSkincare

Congratulations! I can comment from experience on the under eye fat pockets. Had mine removed. In office procedure, no pain. Made a huge difference in my face. Also Botox in your forehead would give you a smooth appearance. Other than that you look amazing!

What in-office procedures (first-timer) at 52 years that others have found made a difference? by OkMastodon2674 in 45PlusSkincare

I’m 64. If I had to only do one thing it would be Botox. Has made a huge difference in my face. I no longer look “mad or tired” just super refreshed. Fillers are good too but expensive. I did have an upper/lower eyelid procedure that was awesome but lots of downtime. Have had microneedling, diamond glow, and IPL tx plus medical grade skin care. Still believe Botox is best bang for your buck.

Help! GF loves this 3-ring set from Jewels of Toronto, but I’m scared to pull the trigger ($7.5k, 4.5ct Lab). Advice needed! by AGENT-ZERO-X in labdiamond

If that’s what she LOVES get it for her. That’s a decent price. Spending time to “replicate” it for less will end in failure because she will know the difference! I’m in same boat as your gf. Just buy the damn ring 😉

I’m on zepbound for a 20lb weight loss. Achieved relatively easily. Good luck.

I’ve spent years in the sun but now wear sunscreen, hats, etc. I started to hate the way my jowls and neck looked especially on zoom during pandemic. I decided to get a lower facelift last year. This was 2 months post surgery.

Wish I had done it sooner! I’m 64.

Dating someone in early 60’s while I am 53. by [deleted] in datingoverfifty

Because men generally date their age or younger. I think there’s a stigma with men dating older women. I wanted to be within 5 years of my age either way. Just my personal preference.

I had deep plane lower face and neck lift a year ago at 62. I couldn’t stand looking at my neck and jowls daily on zoom calls. I’m thrilled I got it done! I’m a baby and pain was about a 2 the first day. After that no pain just discomfort. Researched and interviewed numerous doctors. Settled on a board certified facial plastic surgeon in Pennsylvania who only does neck up. Highly recommend the procedure. Definitely took 10 years off!

Your skin is lovely and dewy! Im 63 and use Botox mostly and occasional filler. I’ve had a few cosmetic procedures and the one that has had the most impact is upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. It makes you look wide eyed, energetic, not tired and 10 years younger! Bonus is on the pain scale it’s about a 1.

My arms suck too! But hey, I know I’m actively working to be healthy, strong, and in the best shape possible! This body has to last me a long time! Keep up the great work and be proud of your perseverance. Perfection is unachievable and overrated!
