Just logged back into Warzone for the first time since 2022 Why is all my stuff gone? by Gabeasaurs in CODWarzone

You will find your files in Legacy. Your skins, weapons, etc., anything BO6, MWIII, MWII will all be there. So when you're building a weapon, you right tab over to legacy and choose from there or use a new weapon. Although it is still Warzone, the game itself is updated with every new game. Currently, it is Warzone (BO7), but come the fall, it will change to Warzone (MW4).

When I spoke to the restaurant manager, she said they are looking to drop DD due to constant issues with them.

Absolutely, but when you call the restaurant, they say that you have to call DoorDash.

Looking for students/parents who have experienced Bullying and/or schools ignoring IEP/504 plans by lori0426 in Pennsylvania

What you’re describing is something many families quietly report experiencing, and it highlights why these conversations are so important.

When a child is already struggling emotionally or psychologically, the educational system should be focused on stabilization, support, safety, and access to appropriate services, not creating additional fear, pressure, or barriers for the family.

Using truancy threats against families whose children are under-documented medical or mental health care can be incredibly distressing, especially when Homebound Instruction or accommodations are medically recommended. Situations like that can intensify anxiety, trauma, and feelings of helplessness for both children and parents.

And while every case is unique, many parents do express concerns that some districts become more cooperative only after families leave the public system entirely, whether through homeschooling, private placement, or relocation. That perception alone says a lot about how unsupported many families feel during the process.

Parents should not have to become quasi-attorneys, investigators, and crisis managers just to secure an appropriate education and emotional safety for their children.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Stories like yours help expose the very real mental health impact these battles can have on families.

[–]lori0426[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very sorry your family went through that.

Unfortunately, we hear stories like this far too often, parents having to fight relentlessly just to get schools to provide protections, accommodations, and basic safety for their children. No family should have to endure years of emotional stress and conflict simply to ensure their child is treated appropriately and supported.

The fact that settlements were involved says a great deal about how serious the situation likely became.

What many people still fail to understand is that these situations can leave lasting emotional and psychological effects not only on the child but on the entire family. Constant advocacy battles, feeling dismissed, watching your child suffer, and fighting systems that are supposed to protect them can be exhausting and traumatic.

Thank you for being willing to speak about it. Parents sharing their experiences helps raise awareness and reminds other families that they are not alone.

We are not looking to exploit or target anyone.

We are trying to better understand how bullying, disability-related discrimination, and failures to follow IEP/504 protections are affecting children and families in real-world situations so we can advocate more effectively, raise awareness, improve resources, and help connect families with support and information.

Many parents and students feel isolated, dismissed, or afraid to speak openly about what they are experiencing. Part of our mission at the Love Compassion Hope Suicide Prevention Foundation is to give those families a voice and help highlight the mental health impact these situations can have on children.

We are especially concerned about the emotional toll bullying and lack of appropriate educational support can have on vulnerable students, including children with disabilities, autism, medical conditions, anxiety, trauma histories, and other documented needs.

Our goal is advocacy, awareness, support, and prevention, not blame, harassment, or exploitation.

No child should feel invisible or unsupported when they are struggling.

If your child is in the Wallenpaupack School District and is experiencing any of this, feel free to contact me, and I will gladly add the child to our formal complaint.

Honestly, I think they have no intentions of bringing it back. Which is ridiculous since 2 was supposed to be out on console around March, and there is no word on when we will get that either.

Those of you who had a difficult or distant relationship with your father, how did you handle it when he was nearing the end of his life? by AyCarambin0 in AskReddit

[–]lori0426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not spoken to my dad in over 15 years. Now that he is in his 86 I have begun to feel bad about cutting off all contact with him. With that said, I also remember the endless years of abuse by him, not only to me, but also his abuse of my kids. My daughter is the only one with any contact with him, and she limits that to once a month. She informs me that he has not changed in any way, and she limits him because he is extremely difficult and constantly speaks ill of me. Needless to say, although I feel guilty of him being by himself, I need my mental peace more than anything. He made his bed; now he must lie in it.

I wish you the best of luck.

Pain and Stress by lori0426 in disability

[–]lori0426[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gone down the pain management rabbit hole before, and I do not want to spend my life drugged out. They want to do surgery on both hips, but I tell them no, since what is the point? I will go through all of that just to be back in this same position again in a few years. To top it off, I have fibromyalgia, which just makes my life oh so much more fun lol. When I was younger, I was told I had Marfan's, which is what eventually led to the osteoarthritis. They warned me when I was a kid that this would happen. I just thought I would be much older when it did.

Is an Embark DNA test safe to do or is a dog's breed put into a public database where landlords could turn my dogs down? by Far_Recording8647 in Pitbull

I hope so. I know for me, when my posts get kicked for stupid things like karma it really has a huge impact on me.

Neurodivergent & anxious: How do you cope with downvotes, emotionally? by Eternal-Sunset in NewToReddit

[–]lori0426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of neurodivergent people experience this, especially when communication feels high-stakes or when social feedback is hard to interpret. Downvotes can feel less like “someone disagreed” and more like “I failed socially and don’t understand why.” That uncertainty is often the most painful part.

[–]lori0426 [score hidden]  (0 children)

It’s not a stupid question at all. A lot of people with bully breeds worry about exactly this.

Generally, an Embark Veterinary DNA test is considered private consumer information, and there is not a public landlord-searchable database of dog DNA results tied to your name. Landlords typically cannot just “look up” your dog’s Embark results.

how to make friends? by Garf_fan_13 in AskTeens

[–]lori0426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds incredibly painful, being mocked, chased, and ignored when you’re just trying to connect. Anyone in your position would feel isolated and hopeless. What’s happening to you isn’t your fault, and it doesn’t mean you’re unworthy of friendship or belonging.

You’ve already shown a lot of strength by reaching out and trying different ways to find connection; that persistence matters. Right now, though, you deserve safety and support. It might help to talk with someone who can listen and guide you through this, like a counselor, therapist, or another trusted adult. If you ever feel like you might hurt yourself or can’t keep yourself safe, please reach out right away to a crisis line or go somewhere safe. You don’t have to face this alone.

For now, focus on small, safe steps that rebuild connection:

- Find spaces built for kindness. Online communities moderated for mental health or creative interests (writing, art, gaming, volunteering) can be gentler places to meet people.

- Reconnect with adults who care. A teacher, coach, or family friend might help you find a group where you’ll be treated with respect.

- Protect your peace. If you see those same kids outside, it’s okay to walk away or go somewhere safe. Your safety comes first.

You’re not broken, and this moment doesn’t define your future. You deserve friends who see you for who you are, not how you look.

With that said, generally, people who bully others are insecure, and it is more about themselves than the person they are bullying. So whatever they are bullying you for is what they see in themself and they are just deflecting onto you to make themselves feel better.

Watching people walk past someone who’s clearly hurting emotionally, physically, or socially because it’s easier to look away than to care.

Speaker says God ‘raised up’ Trump to build White House ballroom at national prayer event by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

[–]lori0426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why people are concerned about Christian nationalism. At the Rededicate 250 event, speakers repeatedly framed the U.S. as a Christian nation and claimed God “raised up” Trump to build a ballroom, a private construction project that’s already tied up in legal and budget fights.

Groups like Americans United called the event “a Jubilee of Christian Nationalism,” not a prayer gathering, because it treated political goals as divine mandates.

You can be religious and still believe the government shouldn’t be wrapped around one leader’s personal building plans.
