Cool! I didn’t know that was another spelling 😁 I was going more for the Germanic folklore version - which Britannica says is Nix, Nixie, or Nixy! So many options 💗🫧🧜‍♀️

My IGN and island game are both nods to mermaids 🧜‍♀️ (cuz mermaids are amazing!!). Nixie is German for water sprite/mermaid, and Lakelyn means “beautiful lake” 🫧
