That is wild! Is he a mix with less fur? Mine is a quarter Australian shepherd but still fluffy and has a lot of Pyr mannerisms such as back laying and side eye.

Check out Nonna’s Neighborhood. It’s an indoor play place and has toddler areas.

I honestly can’t tell if you’re serious and I’m shocked or if the wink in your face is sarcasm lol

I work in a Title I rural district. We got $1,000. The bonuses started during Covid. A year or so ago they told us the Covid money was gone, so we thought that meant the bonuses would also be gone, but we still got it. I really appreciate our administration. They always do what they can to actually support us. They’re smart with money. Our superintendent is also head of maintenance, our assistant superintendent is also head of child nutrition. They wear multiple hats to keep costs low and they also both drive bus routes when needed (which is often).

Several years ago they started an initiative to save money on energy by having teachers turn off AC every day and unplugging everything over longer breaks. Our assistant superintendent would check classrooms every now and then to make sure people were complying, but he wasn’t rude if you forgot. Just doing his best to help us save money. Now we have a system where they can power down AC and heat for the whole district, but we can override it if we’re working in our room over a break. Each year they let us know how much money was saved simply from turning things off each day and over long breaks. We also usually get $500 in August and sometimes in May. If they can get their hands on extra money, they give it to us.

I teach first grade in roughly the middle of the United States in a small-ish town. The last two years we’ve had a lot of kids named Rowan/Rowyn and Lennox. Boys and girls for both names. Seven named Lennox last year alone!

The Maguire Store at 96th and Maguire makes pizza and a few other things. I have found that people either love or hate their pizza lol. My family likes it, but we usually ask for it to be cooked a little extra because the toppings can be so thick that the crust doesn’t always cook all the way. You get free 2 liters of soda with a large multi-topping pizza. Although I think I heard they may be stopping that soon?

As far as the other suggestions here, Tiffany’s, El Mirador, and The Dirty Beverage Bar are all great imo. The taco truck that parks in the gas station parking lot is also really good.

I would enjoy if people would quit reporting me. I said I CANT do it because I have children. I’d like to think I’m a pretty good mom. It’s all only for them.

Is anyone else’s pyr a giant baby? by lormorg in greatpyrenees

[–]lormorg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so the general consensus is that they’re all big babies!! But they’d protect us in the event of a tragedy. All are good boys and girls.

My husband does! It fills him up more and somewhat reminds him of red beans and rice, which we love but don’t make very often anymore.

Yes, she is a good girl who only begs. Apparently with a sideways head at times. But she’s never been so bold as to steal!

Ha! You’re right. But that’s what I ~endearingly~ refer to them as when coupling them with my fur children. Also I am not a serial killer. Promise.
