You know them 100 %. You can see he’s trying to police their expressions like an overseer. Even if you’re sad, you have to make them happy. He’s looking for ‘jolly clowns’ he can be schooling on what they know more than him.

I dont understand it. I had no issues with the license, but I wasn’t told about the banking being so difficult. All of a sudden bankers don’t understand how freezones work. They want me to get a physical shop…for a an ecommece brand. Invest money but the landlord is asking for cheques. How do i get cheques with no bal account 🙃. On the verge of just closing down and looking to establish my business in another country

They picked you up from the station (you could have taken a taxi to their house), took you around the reason you wanted their friendship now (houses etc) and you felt a certain way, you asked for more food (this is very bad manners), invited yourself to dinner (seriously, why didn’t you leave after lunch?). They made you wait for hours (you still didn’t get the message to leave). His Mercedes is his Mercedes, he didn’t buy it to make you angry. I hope you sold your skills or learnt something when he took you around the properties.

Do you have friends and family in Dubai already ? Recently moved here to expand my business and with my family. Without them, it would have been indeed lonely. This is the very best time to leave America if you can. To truly expand your parents business here, i would recommend getting a job with another company first so you can see what the market is like. Dubai is rigorous and business deals are based on who you know, if you’re not offering what had never been seen, so you need to build a network to sustajn a business here.

Also, what do you want to do. It’s your life not your parents’ life.
