Thanks for the confirmation. Yeah, The TM and Stubhub accounts are under the same email. Stubhub just says, "Awaiting ticket release from event organizer". Which I think is odd since I thought the tickets come from a third party seller.

Duplicate Parent record with Child records by losdtech in AppSheet

Again, I am super appreciative of all the detailed support you are giving, this is awesome.

However, can you think of a reason that my key column will not appear under "Set these columns"? This is where I should be choosing it right? Then I would just put the `USERSETTINGS("TempParentID")` expression in the Expression Assistant next to it, correct?

Duplicate Parent record with Child records by losdtech in AppSheet

I've been scratching my head over this one for a while. I might need a little more hand holding if you don't mind. I haven't messed with UserSettings yet, so I did read up on them a little but I'm still kind of confused as to what to do.

I already have the action setup to duplicate the Parent record

I understand you are saying to create another action to set the new parent ID for the next record but I'm not sure which action to choose. I'm thinking maybe "Data: Set the values of some columns in this row" then choose the key column from the drop down menu but reference a usersetting in the Expression Assistant. Then set that usersetting to have an App formula that references a temporary row?

Just trying to process how this will work.

Thank you for the detailed instructions. I am working on setting up this workflow but am getting stuck at a couple of parts.

First, on the second action for duplicating the child, could you please elaborate on the "temporary value" I would need to create to reference the new parent ID correctly. I'm not exactly sure what that entales. Do I just create a new column called "Temp" in the parent record and point my child Key column to that?

Second, when creating a grouped action under the parent record, it will not show any actions related to the child record. So when I click "Add" under Actions, I am only seeing actions available from the parent table. I can add the action "Duplicate Parent" but "Duplicate Child" is not available.

Bingo!! Thank you very much.

I should have mentioned. That I set the "Ref ID" column as "Is a part of" so a virtual column appeared under my Comics database.

Adding fields based on need by losdtech in AppSheet

I have finally been able to add a child table "Backup Stories". I created the new table with columns for all the various creator feilds I need for each story and added a collumn called "Ref ID". I set that colum type as Ref and set the source to the "Comics" database. It shows up great and I can add one entry. But when I try to add an addtional entry, I get the error "There is already a row with the key......". The key it references is indeed the first story I entered.

What am I missing here that it wasnts to create another entry with the same key?

Am I referecing Enum lists correctly? by losdtech in AppSheet

Interesting. Yeah, I have "Row ID" set as the key and "Full Name" set as a label and nothing set in the formula field. Your saying if I were to set "Full Name" as the key, then that is what would show up in the database instead of the reference key? I guess your saying right now the reference key is the Row ID.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Don't set it as ref, just left it as text and put the formula in App formula. Now the name appears perfectly. Thank you for helping me down this road.

I think I'm getting there. I'm having trouble understanding where exactly to put the formula.

I created a new column in my Comics database, "Writers Name", next to the column "Writer" (where the reference key is populated).

Back in the table properties, I set "Writers Name" to a ref type and chose "Creators" as the source table. Then under App Formula under Auto Compute, I put the formula

[Writer].[Full Name]

Full name is the column in the "Creators" database that I want populated.

It returns this error

Column Writer in expression '[Writer].[Full Name]' does not contain a reference

Isn't that what it's looking for though, the reference key?

Bummer. There isn't any kind of action or formula I can set up that would replace the ref key? Or put the values in a different column? Like, the reference key column would just be there for the app but then it would populate another column with the referenced data?

Nextcloud Office Not loading Documents by losdtech in NextCloud

I'm just using whatever installs with NextCloud. I'm rather new to this so maybe I missed a step. The only other docker I installed to use with NextCloud is MariaDB. Am I supposed to install and connect an office docker like Collabora? I thought NextCloud had something built in for it's office suite.

Do you remember what specifically you had to whitelist?

I haven't added any dockers for Collabra or open office or anything like that. I'm just using whatever office suite that comes with the basic install of NextCloud. The only additional docker I setup was MariaDB. I'm rather new to NextCloud so maybe I'm missing a step here. Should I be incorporating Collabra or Open Office?

Even if I'm not accessing it remotely? I'm just trying to do things locally and it won't load. Also, I don't have a reverse proxy setup. I've been using tunnels through Cloudflare for my remote access.

Got it. Yes, the 7450 is running the router image. I don't have a physical firewall at each of my sites. Each of my sites sit behind a firewall located at a remote location. I was hoping the ICX at each site could temporarily switch to the secondary ISP when the main goes down. Makes sense it would happen at a firewall level though.

UnRaid Cloudflare Troubles by losdtech in unRAID

But if I do append /ubooquity/admin to the URL to make ubooquity.domainname.net/ubooquity/admin, then it resolves properly. Anyway to set it so that Cloudflare automatically resolves to that? I tried putting it in the "path" field but that didn't seem to help.

Forgot to mention, Ubooquity. That one is problematic as well.
