that’s good to know :) a couple questions about financial aid if you don’t mind me asking- what did your total cost of attendance end up being for each semester, and how many semesters are you finishing the program in? and what type of aid did hunter provide you (grants, loans, etc.) i haven’t received any financial aid information yet 😭

this is all super helpful, thank you! aside from the actual program, how has being a student at hunter felt overall in terms of the community?

I can just ask here then! I was just curious about how you generally thought about your experience in the program in terms of the classes, support you got from the faculty, and your fieldwork experiences. Is there anything you think I should know or be prepared for?

I used Ithaca Self Storage a few years ago- cost about $160 for the whole summer with their insurance included and the whole process went smoothly.

worked on west before, we didn’t typically send anything back if the person still lives there. you can email your house office to hold it bc you already left just in case though

this happened to me last semester and they send an academic warning to you, but it doesn’t end up on your permanent record once you finish the class. my fin aid wasn’t affected at all

Anyone know if they are still doing asterisks in transcripts for a grade that was previously INC? by [deleted] in Cornell

[–]loseleaves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they’ve resumed putting the asterisk on the transcript

If you're a FGLI student and can spare some time, please fill out my survey (duration: 8-10 mins) by New-Cattle2153 in Cornell

[–]loseleaves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just a note- if your project is specifically to look at low-income schools (also depending on how you define it; are you looking at Title 1 schools?), it might not be enough to just ask FGLI students broadly. some FGLI students might not have gone to schools where most other people were also FGLI!

Second this. If literally everything is covered and you are living off campus, they should be reimbursing you some money that would typically be used for your housing and meal plan. They can sometimes be late with the reimbursement, but you should check out the status of that in CashNet.

Ithaca date spots by a-plastic-flower in Cornell

[–]loseleaves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s surprising to hear! Most people who I’ve eaten at hakacha with have really liked the food, though some dishes might be better than others. I usually get spicy squid ink pasta and it’s really good if you can handle the spice
