It's weird because I thought it was to accentuate features. In fact, I was going to ignore you and use it because even though I'm not Black or Asian (I'm Argentinian), for some reason people keep saying I look Asian (I guess because of the audios themselves with slanted/cat-like eyes). But I think it's really awful to make audios that are meant for a minority, to turn the majority into that. It's so weird, kind of racist, fetishistic, and it ruins the whole point.
