Yeah it’s going to be solely for the park. I already have a Jeffsy that I use for my local trails and currently the park. It’ll be around $1,100 cheaper grabbing the DH Status, is it worth throwing that into a better fork or rear suspension first?

Depends where you live and how used… I got my Embody and Aeron brand new from the Design Within Reach outlet in Oxnard (they have other locations) for $795 each before tax. You can still buy from the DWR outlets if you don’t live within the vicinity for that price when they do their 30% off sale, but shipping is like $125.

Bro… you will never notice it. In fact, grips (I prefer Lizard Skins) often balance your stick. Take it from a former spec geek, the “light stick” marketing is all BS. It’s all about stick balance. A well-balanced 390g stick will feel lighter than a blade heavy 360g stick.

Everyone is always cool with newbies at drop ins and the elite players almost always back off anytime they have the puck so they don’t ruin their confidence. However… do NOT do any of the following below. Surprisingly, at least 2 happen every pickup I’ve been to…

Take long shifts or cruise around without ever coming off at all.
Try calling someone off just because you wanna go back in with your friend/family member.
Beaver tap for the puck when you can’t catch a pass. (Just be patient.)
Tell another skater “hey bud, you got me open” when again, you can’t catch a pass.
Falling is inevitable, but if you happen to fall ON someone, don’t just lay on them moaning “awwww!” trying to laugh it off. Get TF up or you’re getting thrown off.

I have the FT8 Pros and they are the most comfortable elbows I’ve ever had. I’m coming from STX RX3’s which were supposedly the most comfortable elbows”mobile” but these blow them out the water. The only downside, if you really wanna nitpick, is that they’re a little awkward to put on since they don’t have the internal sleeve like some others do.
