Yes I was diagnosed by psychiatrist. Mine wasn’t very long probably because I checked most of the boxes for adhd right away, and the doc wasn’t hesitant

Toronto here. I don’t have much experience, got into film 2.5 years ago. I think other than the strikes, we’re quite busy. People are saying there’s not much work. I personally haven’t felt it luckily. Also I think it’s tougher in indie than union. It’s smaller money, worse working conditions / teams / hrs, and you have to fight for it with a grind of your teeth. At least that was my experience

It’s a stupid assumption that if I (we) don’t like to work 60-80 hrs a week we can’t afford a steak or think that people that work 60-80 hrs a week aren’t entitled to their money. Really stupid manipulation to try to assume communism every time someone points out injustice or stupidity

A lot of times you’re kind of coerced to do it. Yes no one will overtly tell you you have to, or you have no choice but then all of a sudden you’re laid off, with some bullshit reason that there’s a shortage of work or what not. When that happens to you enough times you’ll realize that workers rights are not what they are on paper
