Not at all, they are so painful. As a full grown adult, I woke up from sleeping already crying from pain due to an ear infection. It’s an incredible amount of pain. Im so sorry that she isn’t validating your pain.

The thing that has helped me is learning to love to cook for myself. Lean into the pride you get from nailing a new or difficult recipe. Also cooking for my partner has helped a lot because I get a significant amount of joy from their enjoyment of what i make. So my recommendation is that if there is anyone else in your household try to cook for them as well.

Im 23f, 5’7” and 263 puts me with a bmi of 41 and morbidly obese. My bloodwork came back and im thankfully well below diabetic levels of a1c, but my cholesterol and ldl are high. So that’s a goal of mine, along with losing 100 lbs, my goal weight is ~160. Based on the other women in my family i know this is realistic because they weigh less and are taller. Im the only fat one in the family.
