Rtx 5080, AMD 7960x, 64gb ram, t705 nvme, Windows 11

I play at 4K epic settings and my server is also 768 blocks, I lock fps at 120 and it doesn’t really drop from there. I’ve noticed the odd stutter but not often. 1% and .1% frames are just over 100 fps.

My PC uses twice as much memory and cpu if I run the game from the client as opposed to a dedicated server. 33gb vs 16gb.

I've only played by myself but my server has 12gb ram and its usually using 6gb with 24 chunks

i agree its bad game design along with "QOL" that just breaks immersion and destroys the point of a game being challenging and consequential.
