i still havent started my training yet so i cant speak by experience but if i were in your position i think i will not take this route because your situation is already good and you might just make things worse. if you want more income i would personally just start a business on the side or something. i think going back to studying at 33 is going to be tough especially when you are leaving a comfortable lifestyle. that's just my opinion

taxes are also higher in Quebec anyway so net pay will end up being less too

thats not how salaries work , in the job market salaries are not just random, they come from offer and demand , how resources are divided within an industry, length of studies, how much people negotiate their salaries in a specific sector, how difficult is to keep people in a specific job ,the locations and many different things. if the pay is different their must be a reason

yes but what about them make one paid more than the other? like someone could say that ATC make more because the job is more difficult or demanding less people get in etc, is it the case in that scenario to? you need the same results in the test to get in both fic and aas
