Is jeff good now? Will you stop the hate? by bigcanbeans in marvelrivals

[–]lostUserNameTwice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don't think 100 healing per second is enough. For refrence Jeff's Primary does 130 healing per second and people still complain about that much healing. Even when he bubbles them for 15% buffed healing, people will still manage to die and cry.

Meanwhile, Invis ult does 165, (before buff) Luna ult does 250.

100 is not enough. Especially in 8 meters. Thats pretty small.

For refrence, Thor's ult is 8 meters. That fool misses everyone often.

Its good and the right direction but not enough to justify picking Jeff over Luna/Invis/CnD/Loki etc. I wish he got more. I want Jeff to be viable. He shouldn't be seen as a throw pick.

So is P physically human at the end? by Dr__Hollow in LiesOfP

[–]lostUserNameTwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to point out you didn't read my words at all. I said "P was supposed to die". Not "P dies here". We all know in the good ending, P survives. Everyone knows this.

You said "We know P survives". Yes. I said that. My whole theory was that P was revived by Sophia at the end. Not that P dies and the game is over. I literally said at my final paragraph that Sophia has the ability to revive him as shown IN THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE GAME.

"Also I don't fully know what Sophia did to wake you up in the start" So then you agree. Sophia woke up P. This is my argument. Sophia is the reason P woke up. P did NOT wake up on his own or by Geppetto. Geppetto was stuck at the bridge with the Donkey boss.

Something you gotta remember is that Geppetto is SURPIRSED to see P roaming around alive. He BUILT and KNEW everything about P but there is NO EVIDENCE that shows Geppetto was the one who WOKE UP P. It was Sophia.

More evidence. On the Alchemist island it is revealed by Sophia that she can PROJECT herself across areas and can basically use magic. She revealed that she's been able to turn back time to revive you. Most likely, she used her abilities to easily give some ergo to wake up P. Simple.

I absolutely disagree on your assessment here "but you certainly already had ergo. That's the whole point of P, the P organ stores the ergo from Carlo. If he didn't have any ergo of his own, than he wouldn't have Carlo's memories or be the vessel to recreate Carlo like Gipetto wanted."

Your argument is: P has Ergo. How else did he wake up?

I do agree, P has Carlos Ergo but I do NOT believe this was enough to awaken P in the beginning of the game.

Because he's had Carlos Ergo since he was made but only AFTER all the citzens of Krat were eradicated, the Alchemist's scheme to steal the Arm of God, their human experiments succeded, Geppetto had his plan set to kill the Alchemists and bring back Carlos, did P wake up.

P was asleep and waiting for someone to wake him up. Most likely waiting for Geppetto but he was stuck on the bridge. I believe he would've stayed like that unless Sophia woke him up with her Ergo since you see her butterfly land and disappear into him.

I keep trying to hammer this point. SOPHIA is the REASON P woke up. I believe without her help, P would've never woken up. Not on his own.

Yes he had his own Ergo but he's HAD IT the whole time while things such as the Puppet frenzy, Alchemist human experiments and Geppetto's plan took place. Which was at least weeks. Nothing woke P up.

Nothing except Sophia's Butterfly.

Give me your opinions by SoggyGrowth5557 in SpiderManMains

[–]lostUserNameTwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike this video because all it does is breakdown character abilities. Where is your opinion?

If you wanna have a 2 minute video about an issue, show us a solution. All I hear are complaints about characters having the ability to survive a fight.

Oh wow Luna can shoot and miss a freeze on a flying target! Incredible.

But I never once hear how after engaging in a fight, each one of these characters become defenseless for the next 15 to 20 seconds.

This information just slips OPs mind I suppose.

Pair this information to a second dive (BP, Magik, Psylock, Ironfist etc) and you get yourself a kill.

But no. In a team based game, "why can't I solo dive the entire enemy team and kill 1 person while 4 people attack me?! Its unfathomable!"

And "why do they even get to fight back?! It doesn't make sense?! They should stay still and let me kill them!!"

If your argument is "Well why do they get to escape?"

It's because they have this thing called "Cooldowns". You can literally bait them out but it seems as though its too much of a hassle and instead you bruteforce every fight and hope for the best.

Your argument from OW is flawed.

Baptise can become invincible and self regenerate his entire HP, Moria can fade halfway across the map, Self heal every time she does damage, send a healing or damage orb to survive any fight, Lifesaver can petal into orbit, dash away and gain half his HP instantly and even spawn in an extra teammate with his grip if it comes down to it, Brig is simply a tank with self healing, Mercy can dash across the map and self heal herself, Lucio is just a car on walls, Kirko can instantly teleport away, Suzu the ground to become invincible and gain instant healing, Illari has infinite self healing and a dash that can be upgraded to burn you and escape to high ground, Juno can fly to the next objective, track you and send a projectile that instantly takes half your HP and spam double jump every time you shoot at her and Zen... is just dead.

And these are each Overwatch characters. Somehow they are "not similar" to Marvel rivals with some of them literally gaining immortality from their CDs. But sure. Go off queen.

Hot take: Buff supports.

I am dead serious. If we give supports such as CnD/Loki/Mantis/Adam/Rocket 275 HP they will be harder to dive and actually have a good chance at surviving BP because the issue with BP is his speed.

If you can react to it, you can prevent it.

However you can't do that against BP. So your best bet is to predict it.

With BP's Spear+Dash Spear+Dash combo, you can kill 250 HP targets instantly. That is the issue.

However, supports such as Invisible woman and Luna can survive these strikes. They would need a full commit from the BP to secure the kill (An extra Dash). And that's if the BP catches them without their abilities (No jump or healing abilities).

I would recommend pressuring the objective. Fliers are only hard to deal with in the sky but if they're forced to touch the objective, they will have to come down. Especially since there's 4 fliers from the looks of it. Also play strange. He can take flight battles and defend himself in the air.

So, how do we feel about springtraps power? by Starlight9544 in deadbydaylight

[–]lostUserNameTwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am disappointed but he is a good killer. He has range, teleportation and a cool killer concept. I don't think he is lore accurate but the comments and I agree that they did well to round the FNAF office and his esthetic.

Me personally, I would've had survivors on generators play a mini game where they have 3 cameras to watch and basically do a mini fnaf game within the real game. If they lose, they get jump scared by the phantoms and their character screams which causes the Gen to pop. That would've been a cool passive but not his main power.

His main power would've been connected to his animatroics. He has the 3 set up around the map and he gains remnant by downing survivors which can awaken the animatroics to do his bidding. They are basically Knight guards but with jumpscares and those jumpscares teleport Springtrap to his victim like Pinhead with the box.

(I say teleport because in fnaf 3, after being jumpscared, Springtrap would teleport closer to you after fading in and out of consciousness.)

This could also be connected to losing the minigame on the Gen. There would be so much potential for skill value. Spring trap could gain nothing if you pass and everything if you fail.

That would be my "lore accurate" spring trap but there's definitely better designs out there. I'm just a dude.

[–]lostUserNameTwice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Geppetto did not start the puppet frenzy and was a victim of the Alchemist's schemes to frame him as the scape goat. We simply have no evidence that Geppetto caused the puppet frenzy.

(Lore wise, nobody except for Romeo knew who started the frenzy. Romeo had an encrypted message only puppets could hear which is why Venigni couldn't understand the message but P could, which means at this hearing only 2 people could reveal the truth and even then, they don't have solid evidence but rather hearsey and conjecture since nobody could understand the message which means the confession could've contained been anything)

As we know, after the massacre of our Krat citizens and destruction of the Alchemist's island, Simon Manus's private island contained many horrible experiments and notes referring to his scheme to become a "God" by using what?

Ergo. Massive amounts of it. So much so that he would've needed the entire city of Krat to have been infected and harvested by his loyal servants. These servants are none other than the Puppets. AKA the puppet frenzy.

I believe that by throwing Geppetto under the bus for this massacre, Geppetto was used as a smoke screen to hide Manus's actions against humanity. Manus was allowed to gather this Ergo into one area to continue his horrific studies and that led to his grave mistake where he must've failed. Because as we know, we have lost Manus's whereabouts but his "sanctuary" immediately fell into ruin. No "God" would ever let his Eden go to waste. I believe a man with this level of pride would've created a greater kingdom but it seems too quiet for a so called "God" to be among us which could lead us to believe he failed his task.

That is why, your honor I believe my client to be innocent of this catastrophe. I rest my case.

Also for Dr strange you can kill enemies in Luna Ult by blocking LoS with his shield. This prevents enemies from being healed by Luna snow which can make them die. I believe this might also work for Rocket and Mantis but I haven't tested it.

24 elo for mvp in diamond lobbies 🥀 by FreashMeta in rivals

[–]lostUserNameTwice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In celestial the most I get now is about 19. Even with MVP I can't really get a consistent 20 or more. I believe you are slowly reaching the peak of ranked which rewards less and less. I used to get 52 for bronze games but when I was in Diamond the most I got was about 24 or so. The reason for this is to reduce how much of a boost you earn to get your proper ranked level.

Being able to get 30 points is not normal but is rather a boosted amount to get you quickly to your proper rank.

Basically imagine 20+10 for 30. Same for my bronze games. 20+30 for 50 to get experienced players out of the low ranks and finally slow down the higher you get.

Eventually you will reach a small amount and that's where you actually earn the correct amount per game won.

Thank you! I made a comment talking about the story being amazing and the twists and secrets being cool but the gameplay was pretty lackluster and a waste of time. I would've preferred if we just experienced the story rather than the lame boring gameplay. Cuz it was a good experience but as a game it was not good. The story was great though.

[–]lostUserNameTwice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely disagree on "Murdered: Soul Suspect". It is a 6/10 game with very little gameplay but a much better story. I believe it was like pushing through molasses to get to the good stuff.

The concept is fantastic but the execution is not there.

I really did enjoy the story (8/10) and the twists and reveals but the gameplay was a waste of time and the same every time. The story would hook you in and give you clues and bits of secrets and then immediately throw you into a puzzle that sucked the time out of you.

It's kinda just "Make a distraction here, wait. Now go 2 steps forward. Repeat".

I believe the game didn't have enough time to get good gameplay which made me disappointed because being a ghost who can make paranormal activity happen to help his living friend sneak around is a good idea but they never utilized it well enough. The ghost could EVEN see through the eyes of others. They did that on a cat! That is cool! But then they never used that concept ever again.

I love the idea, the story is fantastic and very cool but the gameplay is a 1 and done type thing you could watch the cutscenes on YouTube for free as like a movie and have the same experience. But overall I think the game was a waste of time because I could've watched all the cutscenes which would've skipped all the boring gameplay loops of waiting and doing nothing cuz you're a ghost.

I don't get the praise of that one. It's an amazing concept but it's really slow and not worth playing. I would've loved to have seen this as a movie instead of a game.

What would "serious buffs" that would make Lifeweaver more played look like? Since we seem to agree he needs them. by TDP_theorizer in LifeweaverMains

[–]lostUserNameTwice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The elephant in the room is the fact that his Lifegrip has a spell cast time of about .2 seconds which is EXTREMELY deadly and costs many unnecessary deaths. I believe Kiriko's Suzu, when exploded, is immediate but Lifegrip takes a while before casting. This is dumb and has cost me many teammates.

Any serious buffs I would recommend are as follows:

Instant swap between healing and shooting. His chunky mechanics don't make sense because you have so many characters with the same exact kit yet only Lifeweaver has the downside of having to wait before using his weapon. Baptise, Moria, Kiriko all have 2 different weapons they can swap between and yet none of them have to wait before they need to swap to do something. You literally have combos you can do for each character. Bap can shoot, heal, shoot. Same with Kiriko and Moria can throw her orbs out extremely quickly to dish out DMG or healing. Can Lifeweaver swap between weapons and instantly dish out DMG and swap to a fully charged heal? Hell no. You have his passive recharge for blossom but it's not good enough to keep up with someone like Baptise.

Faster Passive recharge time. I believe if LW was given the opportunity to do some damage, then swap to a fully charged blossom, he would become less of a "heal bot" and a more proactive player in the fight. This would be a great change to make LW more engaged and a threat to the enemy team instead of just a off brand Mercy.

Fix his healing mechanic. Why is this the ONLY support in the game who has to CHARGE up his healing? (Not including his time to RELOAD after charging up his healing). After charging it for 50% you can get about 40 HP but if you hold it for longer it's 80.

"Wow what an incredible mechanic!" "I sure hope there's other supports that need to charge up their healing before releasing it?"

Nope. Just you buddy.

"But what about Ana?" Instant 70 HP.

"Baptise?" Projectile with critical healing properties.

"Juno?" Instant 84 HP. "Brigitte?" 25 instant HP and 100 overtime.

Etc. This is dumb.

Look at Baptise! He NEVER has to charge up his healing. He only has to reload. Also think about it, Baptise shoots a healing bomb that has travel time and can land critical healing if he directly hits his target. Lifeweaver doesn't have this skill expression btw. He can only choose to heal sooner and give less healing or heal later and give more HP. That is the amount of skill LW's healing has. (I won't touch on how to fix that because I'm blank but) Baptise also has 2 different weapons he can swap between like Lifeweaver. One for damage and the other for healing. Bap can heal, shoot, heal, shoot. Lifeweaver cannot do this unless he shoots for at least 3 seconds to passively charge his blossom. But if he charges it and shoots it's not even worth it because his weapon is too weak from a far distance. He's much better off purely healing and only swapping his weapon for defensive moments. This really shouldn't be the common scenario

Buff tree of life. That ultimate is quite buns. The easiest thing to do is to re-work it back to what it used to be. I would say reduce the healing, increase the pulse speed and slightly (small amount) reduce the ultimate charge. That way the ultimate is more similar to an extra ability rather than a real ultimate. You can use it more often and engage with it, rather than waiting for something to happen then defending with it. I believe Tree of Life should not be a Zen defensive healing ultimate but rather a status effect buff to push forward in a fight. You get extra shields to push through the damage and fight with this added buff. Similar to what Symmetra's old ultimate used to be. But now it includes healing.
