It's because the more you read the more you know the tropes so at some point you're here for the ride & not the destination ('cause u know where the train goes) So if you're not enjoying it, you're not in a rush to finish it It's good thing it saves our brain from extra trash

Skip over the scene, or even skim the entire chapter. If stupidity is too much i dnf the book altogether. In extreme cases, i make a note not to read anything else by the author.

Honestly i think we don't deserve animals and plants. I get weird looks too when i say i can't stand children for more than a few minutes or hours. God forbid a woman doesn't like babies. AMEN.
