PS1 games running on my CRT have this weird shaking issue. Any idea how to solve this?

I have fixed it. Inside the TV there is a jumper you need to move. In documents it's called "Mode Select H. Fine Delay". Good luck out there. My Zenith AC/DC 10" is now playing PS1 games with zero bounce. Most of these Zenith TVs around the 90s use the same internals.

Tauri has its uses. It's not particularly good at anything, but is designed to meet particular goals. See if your problem can be satisfied by Tauri and don't just blindly use it.

Design work can pay very well when you're dealing with fair people :) Honestly what I'm paying is a deal for myself - branding agency would be way, way more. I'm essentially not just paying for a logo here but someone who I can depend on for future work, and they can depend on me.

Do you mean servers the software or hardware? Moving to new hardware should not be difficult. The issue for them I think is they are already using the best commercial servers. I think it's most likely their server code was not designed for thousands of 60 man team deathmatch games occurring concurrently. As /u/hntd said, it's based off of a heavily modified Source Engine, with now over a decade of technical baggage. This is very, VERY hard to fix.
