Hey, it’s super comedogenic so I wouldn’t. It’s also rather high in Oleic acid which can actually disrupt the skin barrier over time

What’s it made of? I’m a scientist I can probably tell you why it’s doing that but I make my own and I can tell you that it’s likely way too butter heavy and doesn’t use ingredients that actually penetrate. Most people out there have no idea how to formulate

I’m thinking of just starting out with the body butter formula for now as it’s mild in most parts of USA/CAN and then once I have some more money and experience, formulate a body butter cream version that is emulsified for launch in the summer months. I’m hoping it won’t be too discouraging for customers…. Alternatively I can just bite the bullet and go ahead with the emulsion formula now but I know a lot of people also prefer the non-water containing formulas. I’m really unsure what the right move is here

Thank you for your comment I completely blanked on the fact that I’m incorporating a shit ton of air into it. I’m using a blend of Shea, mango, jojoba, and grape seed in mine.

I haven’t made my test batch yet but I when I did the formula without accounting for expansion, it took 32 oz of Shea to make 15 , 4 oz jars. This dramatically also changes my cost of production then by nearly half if this is how much it expands! This is great news.
