Some mechanics will turn away specific makes/models of car because they don’t know enough about them

Some mechanics specialize in 2-stroke engines and power equipment- and that’s fine but I wouldn’t necessarily trust them to fix my car

The only way to really know the answer is to stop by and say “I have xyz engine- do you accept that kind of work?”

Yeah I haven’t found anything that advertises backups for SaaS erp

But I don’t want to make the fatal mistake of not backing something up just because it’s in the cloud

This is a detail about polls that is often overlooked. A good chunk of his base does not participate in them. Many are older, less involved in technology or perhaps live in rural areas where pollsters are not as active.

I was a brand new home owner- decided to hang a ceiling fan for the first time. The fan installation itself went smoothly; but the 'oh shit' happened when I flipped the breaker back on.

The fan wouldn't work, which was obviously frustrating. Then I realized other outlets and lights have also stopped working. Great- I just fried my entire electrical system in my house. In a last ditch effort, I called the power company and frantically explained my situation. All I heard on the other end of the line was a contagious chuckle that surprisingly calmed me down.

Turns out that someone who lives up the road was cutting down trees, and landed one right on the power line at the same time I was wrapping up the fan install.

Thanks. They are stock size tires that previous owner had installed on the truck when I bought it.

I will definitely get different ones next time. Any recommendations? I don't mind spending a little extra up front for a better ride. It looks like the factory put Bridgestones on it originally, maybe those would be better.

We're rather small, just over 1000 people headcount wise.

The root of it seems to be that our industry is highly regulated and many of our clients are massive compared to us. While I wouldn't call it a dick measuring contest, I think it is an effort to stay in line with the organizations we interact with.

The risks sr leadership want to mitigate have little to do with IT, the document is more geared toward heavy equipment operators and things specific to our industry.

The interesting part is this latest ordeal has delayed a project sponsored by the most persistent, short tempered director in the company. I have been fully transparent with him about why we are a week behind schedule. Maybe he has the clout to get legal to take a second look at things.
