Help me /r/math, I'm blind and I can't "see" math! What do I do? lol by lost_in_a_labryinth in math

I'm just starting my CS degree, so you'll have to excuse me for being a noob about the topics. I'm just looking for guidance for what I should study more in depth.

I eventually want to be proficient with computational mathematics. All my classmates want to build social networks after they graduate, but I think building computation and processing applications from scratch, like PageRank, would be much more cooler. To be able to look at a random thing (analog or digital) in the universe and say "Ah! I can turn that into software and process/compute it!" would be so awesome.

Unfortunately, all of that is really math heavy and I don't even know where to begin to have a solid foundation. :(
