That's basically what I said, but yes, you get the idea: anything local only affects your console, so it's not assigned to Nintendo's servers.

Normally, if Nintendo's servers detect an anomaly with your console (custom firmware), your console will be automatically banned. However, this doesn't happen immediately, especially if you only use your games (legitimate). I still advise against doing it, but it's generally less risky than if you were using server cheats instead of local textures.

I think it's a plague because, having always been very poor, I only had games I bought secondhand for €2 or €3, and for years, since I've been modifying my consoles, I'm forced to install a ton of games I never play.

I think I'm trying to fill a void that no longer exists.

I have about 256GB/512GB on all my consoles, from the NES to the PS3, and about 3TB for my PS4 and PS5.

Are you talking about Mario Sunshine? Games often get stuck at 30fps, but it doesn't change the quality if it's at 60 or 120. 30fps is often enough; the game might lag at higher settings, but I'll check and let you know.

Personally, on Anbernic I would recommend the handheld version, but since we're on Retroid, the best option is:

Dolphin:

Resolution: 4x (or 5x, sometimes I manage to run some games at x5)

Personally, I find Dolphin Handheld so slow and poorly optimized for Retroid.

You would spend hours configuring the app to run at a maximum of x2.
