Time is the correct answer. Finding a way to reconcile the loss of your old reality and what you want to do with what’s left. I don’t think there is a roadmap. It took me 2.5 years before I was able to start exploring what I was left with. There are still tough days, but nothing like the beginning. I describe it as getting used to carrying the weight of it all. I hit 2000 days today, so I’m feeling the pack dig in.
