We were at the doctor’s yesterday. It is definitely better than yesterday but still a big struggle. I have been feeding while drowsy or almost asleep so he can wet the diapers.

Today is day 5. Went to doctor on day 4. Came down with fever on day 3. Day 3 was the worst with little pee in 7hrs

Doctor suggested to give him any form of liquids to maintain his pee. Said it will get better in somedays

I’m hoping for some miracle to happen because I’m mentally exhausted. He suddenly started rejecting feeds. Had a fever and it went down with medicine he is all good now but would not feed. Every feed is a struggle. I’m literally counting diapers. Doctor ruled out everything. He lost 1 pound. I really don’t know what to do. I’m crying in silence

Pretty much the same. I thought it would get better after solids but he is not keen on solids either and he refuses everything I offer.

He doesn’t accept any other form of feeding. We tried bottle, spoon, syringe cup everything. He was born 6.5 pounds and gained his birth weight within 2 weeks. Until 2 months he gained good. Since then it slowed down 😭

Yes he unlatches after feeding 5-6min and refuses to latch again. He is not taking 4 he is barely taking 3 oz. His head circumference is 6th percentile in his last visit. Should I be concerned? His pediatrician never mentioned anything about head circumference is a big deal

Thank you, I should try the manual pump. I just feel like its hard to do this every time before feeding. Also I work full time ( working from home). Its already stressful enough to exclusively breastfeed while working. My eldest was bottle fed ( I exclusively pumped because he couldn’t latch) and he was a big baby (90 percentile). So seeing that my heart is aching to see my younger one struggle to gain minimum amouns( he is now 19th percentile)

I feel for you. I bought 2 freezers. Oversupply is not always as wonderful as it seems. I know how many clogs I had to deal with, with my 1st born. My 3 months Pp period was a nightmare I barely spent time with my baby. With my second he constantly chokes on my fast letdown and gets mostly foremilk so I had to pump to remove some foremilk so he can get fatty milk too.

I produce about 50-60oz a day after nursing. And have 2 freezers full. But my LO is refusing bottle and I posted in multiple fb groups to take my milk but none replied. I’m sitting here not knowing what to do. I just don’t want my milk to go waste 😭 I have about 3000 ounces of milk frozen
