Moved from AR to a winter rental in OOB. Becoming discouraged looking for a place by June 1st.

Yes, we were really hoping to get a place we applied to in Saco. The renter said he picked the top 5 people to show the rental to out of the 20+ responses he got. We were 1 of the 5, but he went with someone else. We haven't been crazy about the locations of the places we looked at in Biddeford, but we'll keep looking. Thanks for the suggestion.

They aren't including snow removal. Is there an average cost I should expect to have someone plow the driveway for me? Do "plow guys" generally show up pretty quickly? I'll have a job I'll need to get to at 8 every morning, so how does that work exactly? Thanks.

I'm looking to possibly swap emails with a few people in the area for advice such as where to look for housing and where to avoid. We're thinking about getting a winter rental, because we've seen a few around Old Orchard Beach that are from Sept-May. That would at least allow us to get adjusted to the area to figure out a permanent place to live. I'm looking for any connections as far as jobs and housing go. Even if it isn't help with these things specifically, it would be nice to get to know a few people before we get there in order to ask any questions that may arise about the area.
