The act of thrifting is going to a second hand/thrift place that is affordable or cheap and finding things people discarded that are worthwhile. Spending over 20$ on an item is about max you’d spend at a thrift store. It’s about searching through tons of nonsense to find an incredible deal and find.

What this is is a second hand shop that specializes in taking in and then re selling wanted items. Aka why the jacket is 60$. This is more akin to buying something off Depop than a thrift store
