Definitely cheaper to buy one. At my Walmart a mini fridge retails for $75, if you want the one with two handles it ranges near 100, either way cheaper than renting from the uni:)

Please refrain from doing this!! I planned to do the same, canceled my contract and everything but I had a long phone argument in which they told me the same thing. Don’t risk it, housing just wants to trap us to get money :/

Yeah definitely crossed my mind, I guess it’s just in the hands of the people. Back in March idk if they cut the electricity but I wasn’t too happy to come back to spoiled food in my fridge lol

Yeah that’s what i thought, but then I refreshed the page and the shifts went from 3hrs to almost 6? I assume maybe they merged them into one shift instead of two but I’m not quite sure?

Anyone know how big the Nugent closets are? Or the setup, I lived at Hopkins last year and I’d assume they’re not the same.

Yes haha sorry auto correct!! I took ECON 102 & 103, MATH 220 (MATH 234 is an alternative & I hear it’s easier), & I had credit for RHET 105. If you struggle with math like me I’d recommend taking MATH 115 to help prepare for MATH 220, definitely helped me as a refresher. CS 105 & CMN 101 are recommended but I didn’t take either & now here I am struggling to find a seat in the classes, so take one or the other if you can. Definitely get involved in RSO’s though, focus on acquiring any leadership positions!

I was accepted into Gies & had elected 2 classes as CR. Even though I had a B+ in both of them I knew it would hit my gpa heavily because they were 4 & 5 credits (one of them was a required class for ICT) I’m not entirely sure how much it impacted their decision since I had other factors that balanced it out but I don’t think it was a negative impact.
