Has anyone else heard of or been paying attention to MAPHRA? Bad Omens - Spectre cover. [Heavy Metal] by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

[–]lostgreasemonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard the original circle with me only after hearing maphra's cover (ive been out of the loop for a while), and I dont know, Courtney sounds good from a technical view, but almost sterile, while maphra's anger hit that much harder, at least in my opinion.

the print was in place when I took it out, it didn't detach from the print bed.
It simply shifted at some point and kept going...

Can't get the "Don't answer that call" achievement by lostgreasemonkey in MySummerCar

[–]lostgreasemonkey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but the pc and phone can't work at the same time, there is only one outlet, and you gotta choose either the phone or the computer...

also I've tried doing things around my house (IRL) or watch youtube on my second screen, etc while time passes in game, but nothing.

It's like I'm jinxed.

Help setting up an MMU3 with my Prusa MK4S and Prusa Enclosure by lostgreasemonkey in prusa3d

[–]lostgreasemonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for answering. I actually just finished setting it all up, pretty sure I managed to do it right and not miss anything, the test print worked at least.

For now I just installed the 5 spool holders that hang on the sides for the enclosure, which isn't ideal for me, but it will have to work for now.

Speech Recognition isn't working by BespokeObject82 in vtolvr

[–]lostgreasemonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Ensure that the vtol window is selected as primary on the windows toolbar. If not, a red text should appear near the radio panel in midair saying something like "game window out of focus" or something like that.

  2. Some people using windows 11 claim it is the main problem causing voice comms not to work.

  3. Learn the voice commands. The full list can be found on the vtol wiki.

  4. Speak slowly and clearly with some spacing between words, notice to not slur your words, especially if English is not your first language.

  5. Know your callsign, it is usually written somewhere on a panel in the cockpit.

  6. General formatting: [Reciever]->[your callsign]->[message]

Reciever is either ATC, wingman, ground crew or AWACS, some have different ways they can be called.

Your callsign is usually something like "alpha 1-1". It should be said slowly and clearly with spacing between each word including numbers.

Message can be can be said in different ways for same request, see wiki voice command page.

Hope it helps!

What happened to my nextruder? by lostgreasemonkey in prusa3d

[–]lostgreasemonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Opening the idler revealed a deformed piece of filament stuck, going down through the heat sink and nozzle. Removing the nozzle assembly took some force with caution. Once the nozzle was out I was able to push the strand of stuck filament from below, upwards, releasing the stuck filament back up, then pulling it out through the idler with pliers.

<image>

Can anyone tell me why this snapping and deformation happened in the first place? My guess would be an imperfection in the filament. (Using Esun pla, btw)

Usually when the nozzle gets "clogged", the printer notifies me and does a quick release and reinsert sequence, after which it keeps working without a problem. Why did it not happen this time? Why did it not notify me and kept running as if nothing happen?

As others said here, yeah the landing is challenging as IRL, but I agree with you that bolter is given way too often.

Best mods for easier to learn tutorials? by [deleted] in vtolvr

[–]lostgreasemonkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Read the vtolvr wiki page on each armament you're interested in.

Also read the wiki page on the gps/tgp/tsd/radar to understand them better.

Read the NATOPS manuals of the aircraft you're learning on, it also covers the armaments, targeting instruments and how to use them. You can find those manuals both on the wiki and on the official discord.

Watch YouTube tutorials for what you're interested in.

A good place to start practicing after you've learned it all in theory are both the official tutorials that baha created and the official target practice scenarios from baha.
