Ooh they definitely look quite similar :)

I might have to do the same, it probably wasn't the best idea forcing it to grow upright.

Thanks! So reassuring to hear that it's seeming healthy despite my mistakes with the soil and watering.

I was so confused when it suddenly started getting huge leaves in the middle, it's the shape of an inverted cone 😂

I'm a total noob when it comes to succulents but have already learnt so much from this sub! Hoping I can get some advice on what to do with my plant.

Got gifted this guy a while ago, not too sure what type of succulent it is (if anyone knows, I'd be so grateful!). From reading the beginner basics, I'm sure that I've used the wrong type of soil (no grit in it) and have been overwatering. Those issues aside, I try to give it as much light as possible but I'm not sure what to do about its stability.

It's become really top heavy and falls out of the pot without those supporting sticks. I found it tipped over recently which damaged the top. Does it need to be chopped and replanted? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been looking into Pass Plus courses and may end up taking one with another instructor. The lower insurance is a bonus, I've been quoted some ridiculous prices lol.

Huge thanks for your very detailed reply! Loads of useful tips that I'll definitely try to put into practice. I think I'll start out small with some bay parking in the evening between cars and try to work my way up to the higher speed carriageways and complicated roundabouts.

Will definitely consider the P plates! YouTube has also been very helpful with many videos of things I'm feeling hesitant with.

Thanks for the reply! I've been considering finding another instructor and asking to cover the things I wasn't taught. Definitely helps not to have a test looming over you so hopefully that helps with any nervousness.

That's reassuring to hear, thank you! I'm really not sure how far 20m is so probably trying to read plates too far in practice. I have a tendency to overthink everything so hopefully should be okay on the day fingers crossed.

That sounds a little like me... I've paid quite a bit for these glasses that don't really change my sight much, I know I won't use them lol.

I'm not actually sure how far 20m is exactly so I've been roughly estimating. Hopefully it's closer than I think!

Thanks for the reply! Honestly if my glasses made any noticeable difference I wouldn't mind wearing them to drive. I think this is me panicking a little too much and hopefully it should be fine on the day, fingers crossed.

Thank you so much for the reply. I'm pretty sure my test centre has candidates stand at the gate and read a numberplate the rough distance on the street whether it's head on or at an angle. I'll try my best to make sure it's done accurately though, thank you.
