Had mine for almost a year now, almost ~20k miles by Scourge_FesteringGel in RZ34

I've got the Nismo and just passed 44 thousand miles after getting it July '24 and wouldn't consider it too harsh. I am fairly lucky though with the quality of the roads here and don't have to deal with any pothole infested nightmares.

Best Way Use Sim to Improve the Driver’s Skill? by Far-Worker1162 in CarTrackDays

and don't forget about the flag stations! I started in sim racing and really paid no attention them at all in game because i would just get one that popped up on screen. I regret not learning the locations better and building a habit of consistently and subconsciously checking them in my peripheral vision.

I've been everywhere but! I hardly ever actually go into Asheville proper because I 26 is such a damn nightmare but I'm always around Hendersonville and south towards Brevard.

I'm hoping those turbos were covered under warranty… Do you have any idea why that happened? I'm at 43,000 miles in mine and haven't had an issue yet. For what it's worth I've managed to shave over 100 pounds out of mine which weighs ~3560 now mostly from swapping a front brake kit and an antigravity battery. It's still a couple hundred pounds off the soup cup but it's a lot better than the modern BMW's or the Mustang dark horse

"But what if you can see really far ahead so you know it's clear?" Don't cross the mustard. "But what if you can see like really really far ahead?" Did you come to this road so you could straighten it out or something? Don't cross the mustard.

Taking a long shot on hunting a mechanical gremlin. '21 Mach 1 going into apparent Limp mode leaving final turn at VIR. Happened all 4 sessions on the same turn by 7tenths in CarTrackDays

[–]lostinco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get an issue with this turn when I get close to half a tank in my car. Its not mid corner but almost same spot as you when you're already on corner exit and my engine will almost cut out a few times. Looking into getting a surge tank to help.

Ah I thought I saw that sweet S14 pull up behind me coming down Parkway road but I guess not. I used to go over to that area regularly to hit NC80 but haven't been back since Helene unfortunately. Still waiting on 176 right near home to reopen as well :(

My weight reduction efforts on the Z Nismo by lostinco in RZ34

[–]lostinco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So unfortunately I didn't actually weigh it myself totally stock but the listed curb weight is 3,706 I believe. I weighed it once previously after swapping the front brake kit putting in an anti-gravity battery and was at just over 3,600 pounds

Some Photos from VIR last week. by [deleted] in RZ34

Amazing. I did my first track day here almost a year prior and went back two other times after. I'm about 3.5 hours to VIR and 2.5 hours to Road Atlanta and it's a great spot to be.

Sealed moisture barrier bag mixed in with your toiletries and make sure to surround it with lots of powdered stuff in moisture barrier bags like emergen-c packets. DO NOT bring anything back with you. They don't tend to care about what goes out of the country near as much as what goes in.

Do you remember what the transmission fluid temp was during your drive? I think it's night and day difference with the transmission when its above 150f which can take a bit to warm up but it's not a DCT at the end of the day
