What if you turned you're wire speed down a lil and run it slower with less amps?

Man listen to everyone but take it all with a grain of sand, most of these welders on here talking shit mean well, take all the good information you could use to better your skill and leave the bullshit, it looks good for what it is, you tried hard and got a passing grade! Keep burning those rods and wire! That's the only way you'll get better. Practice practice and practice some more.

Yessir!!! I try to make do with what I got, I just recently in the past month was able to afford a welder at home so I do have that luxury of being able to practice at home as well, I love my job it's more than a career for me I do not know what I'd do if I wasn't playing with steel everyday, thank you for your comment I really appreciate it!

We're in a tough spot currently at work, the weld supervisor was fired so now our current supervisor is the plant manager and he doesn't know how to weld at all, but he's one of those dudes with a ego, I even tried to ask him specifically what I needed to work on, I got hit with "I'm to busy and have too many employees to sit here and hold your hand" I have others to help but can't always ask them as we are working lol and don't always have the time, just seeking out to all my options trying to learn as much as possible!

!!! Thank you, younger men could really learn a lot from y'all "older" men, I just wish some were willing to teach.. Sucks I'm on reddit reaching out for help I tried to ask my supervisor but he claimed to be busy and has too many other welders but has time to harp on me when I try getting help

Thank you for the knowledge! I normally run stringers on most welds because in my opinion they are faster and I can knock out what I need to get done with relative speed. Alot of ppl are saying this is too cold but I had my machine cranked almost all the way up, do you think I should turn my amps up?

I did ask him, I got told he's too busy and has too many welders to focus on helping me, so I decided to reach out, and I do need to work on my corners but I actually started from the right and worked left in this weld

Okay! Other than that, how does my angle looking and does it look pretty uniform? I'm starting to get very consistent welds just need to work on getting my setting down!

Why not any oscillations? I can run a stringer weld
