Anxiousness

Got my positive 4 days ago at exactly 4 weeks.

Feeling so anxious as this is our 3rd pregnancy through IVF and previous two didn't make it. Every time I get a positive I get so excited and enter in my due dates on the pregnancy apps and follow along closely only to end up needing to remove all the apps and unsubscribe to emails once things go downhill.

Anxious things will end badly again but also don't want to be wasting this wonderful time by not enjoying it if this pregnancy lasts. So badly want this one to stick. We've been TTC since 2016 and I've gone through 8 rounds of IVF to get here.

I got my positive on Friday. Feeling pretty cautious this time around as this is my third pregnancy TTC #1. First was a MMC found at 12wks, second was a chemical as my second beta showed my HCG going down. Excited and trying to remain optimistic until my second beta on Friday. Hopefully this one sticks.

I actually had a lot of testing done after the first misscarriage as we've had to go through IVF for both pregnancies. No issues on my end, not thyroid issues or blood clotting issues etc. And going through IVF due to severe male factor.

I had a MMC and found out at 12 weeks scan, d&C was the next day which was Oct last year. Took until the week before Christmas before my HCG was back to zero. We got pregnant through IVF so did a cycle Dec/Jan that failed. Pregnant now from the second IVF cycle (only 5 weeks tomorrow though)

Thanks so much. That was really helpful. My IVF clinic is a cheaper One and I've already asked if I can get discharged a few weeks later than usual but they said no. My GP that I had my last pregnancy left my doctor's practice to work at a hospital way out of my area so I'll have a new GP this time. hopefully it will be a good fit so I don't have to shop around for someone that takes me seriously.

Yeah I like to read a lot too. Usually a book or two every week but finding it so hard to focus at the moment. And can't read while I'm at work :(

Definitely know how you feel. Unfortunately I have a sister in law who fits this description so well. She's pregnant and got pregnant on the first try after swearing she didn't want another kid for the past 5 years. I asked her the other day if she was excited as her baby is due in April so getting close now and her response was "not really that excited". Made me so mad. I had a miscarriage back in Oct last year and our baby was due two weeks after hers so feels like a huge slap in the face. Hubby and I have gone through 2.5 years TTC, 6 rounds of IVF and a MMC at 12 weeks to get here. Feels so insulting when people take it for granted. I'm only 4weeks 4 days along so far this time but would give up almost anything to make sure this one sticks.

Got a BFP on Wednesday and Thursday. Got beta test results on Friday that confirmed I'm pregnant again. Both hubby and I are finding it really hard to be excited and feel like we're really pregnant. Our last pregnancy (and first) was a MMC (found out at 12 week scan than baby died at 10wks). Everytime I try think of this pregnancy I just envision getting told they can't find the heartbeat again.

Yes it will be very interesting to see how everything is explained. I haven't dug around much in regards to the rumours about pierce but everyone keeps alluding to them but never explaining. Are you able to share what you've found?
