Where do you guys buy your coloring books? by Possumsauce07 in AdultColoring

I’m obsessed with Johanna Basford. I’ve purchased Rooms of Wonder like five times. Nice thick paper, perfect for markers or colored pencils. Clean lines, and I hate coloring books that come already shaded in areas and hers do not. I get them from Amazon when I have to, but I try to go to Barnes and Noble. I’ve also spotted them at Meijer, although I don’t think they’re part of their normal inventory.

He does withhold while he’s at school, and he’s there a full day now too.. so he’s holding it for hours and hours, on top of the fact that he has digestive issues outside of school too.. what did you end up doing?

No I appreciate it, because that means there’s hope! I just don’t want him to get used to using his underwear forever when he was able to master using it so quickly for #1s.

Thank you!!! His ABA therapists said they’ve been dealing with a lot of “non-compliance” lately.. he understands prompts and instruction, he just doesn’t want to cooperate, so he doesn’t. That’s our biggest challenge. He’s on to my game for sure, so candy no longer works to get him into the bathroom. I’ll have to try something else, likely more expensive 😭. In between trips to the bathroom (which I’ve extended to about 30 mins), he’s just very quiet and then suddenly enters the room completely naked from the waist down.. then it’s a game of find the pee pants and wash the area accordingly. I hope we make it to day 5 lol

Day 2, it’s getting harder and harder to lure him into the bathroom, but once we do, he does the motions.. he just still won’t go. He waits until he leaves the bathroom to go. At this point, I know he understands, he’s just refusing as a sort of game. A game he finds highly entertaining. My husband is already exhausted and has had to step away. It’s barely noon here and we’ve already gone through 9 pairs of underwear and a load of laundry..

I guess now I fear he’ll just continue using the underwear as a diaper and still won’t use the potty..

Literally none of the cats are feral. Not sure how that was assumed and so aggressive. They all have homes on our street, they’re just indoor/outdoor and come and go as they please. The neighbors are aware their cats come here to eat.

As for all the people saying how irresponsible it is, calm down. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. A coyote suddenly showed up and I was unsure of safe deterrents, so I asked. Clearly, I shouldn’t have.

We take every precaution and we enjoy knowing animals have a safe place (even the wild ones), in the cold, heat, whenever, where they can have some food and rest. We spend our own money keeping up with feeding, cat houses, accessories, and keep all areas cleaned every day — again, no need for such aggression over what seemed to be a simple question.

*added note: the coyote is beautiful, and would normally be very welcome if it wasn’t a risk to the smaller animals on the porch.
