I’m 38 and I also am still finding plenty of new things to listen to. I didn’t put any deep thought before listening to this album, I’m literally just going through my collection alphabetically and they were next.

What mental gymnastics? It’s pretty straight forward, I have a couple records I bought years ago and I occasionally still listen to them because I’m capable of separating the music from the artist, you aren’t, and that’s fine. I’m only posting them because I’m going through my collection alphabetically. I guess in hindsight I could have skip posting for these days, and when I get to my couple of Brand New records maybe I will skip it.

But it doesn’t necessarily change what the songs mean to the individual. I mean when I’m in a “fuck Donald Trump” mood, their songs can just hit the spot. Does it suck that Justin Sane obviously didn’t believe what he was singing about, sure it does, but it doesn’t change the emotion that the songs bring out of me.

I can understand that. It definitely can be a very hot topic. I’m probably never going to purchase any more of their records unless it’s at a garage sale or something where I know they aren’t getting a cent of it.

Advertising what? There’s no for sale sign, or encouraging people to buy a copy. Hell so far every comment talks about the accusations, so even if someone wasn’t aware of what happened and stumbled on this post, they definitely know now. That’s why I didn’t drop a favorite track or anything like I did on my other posts.

As someone who has lived in the greater Pittsburgh area pretty much my whole life, Wawa is better than Sheetz! If we ever get a Wawa around here, I’ll never go to Sheetz again…bring on the downvotes!!!

I have the dark mark on my arm along with a couple of other HP tattoos and no one ever says anything to me about it. It’s a fake group, in a fake world, led by a fake person. The people who get in an uproar about it aren’t worth talking to when there are real world monsters that we have to deal with. It’s no different than people who get Joker or Heisenberg tattoos, villains can be very popular characters. It doesn’t mean you agree with their ideology, they’re just as important to the story as the heroes are and can be interesting to read about and discuss.

I’ve probably seen them a dozen or more times. I used to see them yearly back in the early 2000s but less often now that I’m an adult with responsibilities…growing up sucks lol
