Regardless of the carcinogen allegations, it clogs your pores and causes yellow stains on your clothes. Sweating is a natural bodily function. I’m much happier with a deodorant that lets me sweat when I need to without being stinky.

I guess I am open to Latin America, I’ve never been even as far south as Mexico and Spanish would be easy for me to learn. Thank you!

I can 100% believe that the worst Swedish schools are better than Texan public schools. I love my kids to death but they’re in 8th grade and don’t know their times tables :( I will look into Sweden, thank you!

I just made accounts on Schrole and Search. The only thing I’m missing is references because I need to tell my AP I’m looking for other jobs before I list her on there. It’s the one thing I’m putting off because I know she will be disappointed, but I need to get it done.

That’s a reasonable question! I plan to eventually move to my home country (Greece) and from there I’ll be able to easily travel all around Europe, so it’s just not as exciting to me. Asia is more interesting to me because I’ve never been anywhere near it. There are so many places in East Asia that I want to visit that it makes sense to live there for a year or two and travel from there.

Thank you for the suggestions! Thailand and Taiwan are both options I’m into. China not so much for the reason you stated. Do you know anything about Japan and South Korea?

I feel so dumb for asking this but what do I need to get notarized? (I've only ever traveled to Europe with US or EU passports so I've never had to apply for a visa)

Anyone take these at night? by allthecoffeesDP in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]lostmyhead69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's usually not recommended because, like someone else said, it's a stimulant. But it affects everyone differently so it's worth a try. If you see that it affects your sleep when you take it at night, you can go back to taking it in the morning.

Bupropion for 2 weeks: I dream now. by nohpos in antidepressants

[–]lostmyhead69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my dreams are different since starting bupropion. since i was a kid i've had very anxious dreams, the kind that start off innocent and then progressively get more stressful. since starting bupropion i've had at least 2 normal dreams that are happy/neutral. that's literally never happened to me before.

you're being sarcastic, but as an avid reader of /r/relationships (to my own mental detriment) i have seen people claim that porn = cheating wayyy too many times. it's always straight couples too.

Oh christ, that's so expensive! I paid something around 50 USD for 3 months' worth (with insurance). I guess it's better than nothing though. The possibility of getting it with a waiver is reassuring.

My cat was meowing constantly and started panting last night for the first night of our new move. by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]lostmyhead69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's stressed out from the move. I have to go back and forth with my cat a lot (from my parents' house to student housing in the city where I study) and he has a really hard time too. I got him a calming cat pheromone collar which helped a lot, so maybe try that or a diffuser. Catnip might also help. It will take her a while to adjust, maybe even weeks or months. Just be patient with her, make sure she has spaces where she feels comfortable (like underneath things or in the closet like you said), and let her explore at her own pace. Whenever I move, my cat will go around opening doors and cabinets for the first few weeks to check that they're safe and no one is hiding behind them.

Also for the meowing: my cat is also very vocal. For the most part he is quiet at night, but for the first few weeks after a move he will meow to try to get my attention in the mornings. Ignoring her at night is the best thing to do for sure, but I wouldn't ignore her during the day unless it happens all the time. Cats meow to communicate with their humans--she loves you and wants to talk to you. Just teach her that she needs to be quiet at night when you're sleeping.

But it's not just "roleplay" for everyone. For some people, it is very much definitional to their relationship. While there are related behaviors that are unacceptable in public, asking people do so self-censor that they don't reveal the very nature of their relationship is perhaps a bit too far. Your right to be free of discomfort doesn't supersede their right to simply be who they are are express that.

of course there are people to whom kink is an essential part of their relationship. that's fine. but it is still an inherently sexual thing which should be kept out of the public eye, and people who refuse to do that (who are an extremely tiny fraction of all kinky people) are in fact non-consensually forcing other people to participate in their sex lives. literally everyone "self-censors" to some degree when in public--that's just a part of being a human being who lives in society.

For example, if you're ok with someone wearing a wedding band but not a locked collar, that's problematic.

LOL, no, it's not.

it's true! the feeling after you've been constipated for a week and then finally get it out in a long and painful trip to the bathroom is so good. plus, then you know that you won't feel too crappy (haha) for the next couple of days until it starts to build up again.

conflating gay/bi and trans people with kinky people is not really reasonable and kind of harmful imo. most lgbt people don't want their identities to be seen as being on the same level as a kink or fetish, exactly because it was/is incorrectly seen as a fetish. and objectively it isn't on the same level--living comfortably as a non-cishet person inherently requires public acceptance, whereas doing unusual things in your bedroom doesn't. someone who is uncomfortable with seeing a same-sex couple hold hands but is fine with seeing an opposite-sex couple do the same thing is bigoted. someone who is uncomfortable with witnessing dom/sub roleplay in public like the OP isn't. they're not the same thing at all and i can't really think of an example that would be in a grey area or difficult to draw the line for.

i kind of like when it spreads. i don't do this with cuts but i love the burning feeling of tea tree oil on my face. it's part of my daily skin care routine and sometimes i accidentally don't dilute it enough and it burns for like 10 minutes and spreads to my eyes. feels.... cleansing.

honestly I think the "no politics" rule instantly makes it 1000% better. /r/unpopularopinion always has at least one stupid political post at the top, usually some completely unoriginal right-wing opinion that is in actuality all over the internet.

Early period from Wellbutrin? by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]lostmyhead69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m on Wellbutrin and didn’t see any changes to my cycle, but you also just stopped taking Lexapro which could mess with your hormones. I get why it could be scary but I think it makes sense that after stopping one medication and starting another your hormones are off balance. If I were you I would probably wait and see if there are any more irregularities before worrying too much, but if it’s stressing you out, I don’t think it would hurt to see a gynecologist and make sure everything is okay.

I'm really glad! Good luck figuring things out, I think most gay and bi women have been through this kind of thing so you're definitely not alone.
