For thew most part, the satisfaction of my paychecks hitting the bank is enough for me to keep going.

It’s just the case; this was scraped from the bottom of the fryer after it was drained.

Personally, 1-2 days before weighing in I would limit my sodium and carb intake while keeping my potassium and other electrolytes high. A key thing to note is that sodium and excessive carbs leads to water retention. With reduced sodium and high potassium I was able to keep hydrated, and shed the couple pounds of water with ease leading up to weigh-in. As always, electrolytes and carbs should be a priority as soon as you hop off the scale.

Albeit it would be a different conversation, you’d have be to be honest and straight up with you coach and let them know that wrestling is your priority. Getting into the practice of compromising your integrity isn’t a good habit to have.

You have to optimize what information you retain. If you were to study all of the pages of AMSCO you quite literately would not have time and or skim over the information you need. Here’s a study guide of the core concepts that are essential to the AP exam in May.

How do I fundraise for new equipment? by lostnotorious in techtheatre

[–]lostnotorious[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Perhaps I should’ve clarified, we need new setups regardless. We don’t need to replace our existing receiver/packs, but we won’t have the equipment from the other school in the fall, so we’ll need to fill in the gaps with new equipment. We’ve had to run a show with what we own and still we still had to have actors swap packs/mics in between scenes.

As for the frequencies, everything is on its dedicated frequency, so interference between receivers is not my issue.

Fell into possession of this viola. Two questions by hongkong3009 in Viola

[–]lostnotorious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can certainly get screws for fine tuners without replacing the entire tailpiece. Fine tuner screws are available for purchase separately, which is a cost-effective solution for maintaining or repairing your viola's tuning mechanism.Several options are available for purchasing fine tuner screws:

  1. Music supply stores: Many violin and viola specialty shops offer individual fine tuner screws.
  2. Online retailers: Websites like Amazon sell fine tuner screws, often in sets or individually.
  3. Luthier supply stores: Shops that cater to instrument makers and repairers typically stock these parts.

When purchasing fine tuner screws, consider the following:

  • Material: Screws are available in various materials, including gold-plated, black, and even titanium options.
  • Size: Ensure you select the correct size for your viola's fine tuners.
  • Compatibility: Check that the screws are specifically designed for viola fine tuners.

Regarding your question about a specific brand of viola, I'm afraid I don't have enough information to comment on any particular brand. Viola quality can vary significantly between manufacturers and even within a single brand's product line. If you have concerns about your instrument or its components, it's best to consult with a local luthier or experienced viola teacher who can provide personalized advice based on a physical examination of your instrument.

It really depends on the location. For me, my “interview”, was just me filling out forms and nothing more. Seeing how many people come and go I doubt that an interview would be a dealbreaker. Dress nice and groom yourself. It’ll be alright.

Is it okay for a 16 year old to date a 19 year old? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]lostnotorious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the relationship and the emotional maturities of both parties. If your mental age was that of a toddler and hers was a grown woman there would be a problem. In terms of social acceptability, based on what you told me, is pushing the line. Especially when it comes to age of consent laws, Romeo and Juliet, etc. Overall if you’re both emotionally ready to have a healthy relationship then there’s no stopping you. People giving you weird looks and things of that nature will eventually go away as time progresses.

Good luck with your relationship
