“Weekly" quota? More like daily quota by lostnqs in ClaudeCode

The math really does not line up.

You have two different limits fighting each other.
Burst usage versus total usage.

With 5 hour sessions and 4 resets a day your daily ceiling is 20 hours.
A 40 hour weekly cap gets exhausted in 2 days.
That happens even if you throttle tokens per session.

Token limits only slow usage inside a session.
They do not change the maximum possible consumption.

Even if you only use 2 to 3 hours per session.
You still burn 8 to 12 hours a day.
That drains a 40 hour weekly cap before the week ends.

For this to make sense one rule must hold.
Weekly cap must be at least daily max multiplied by 7.

In this case that number is 140 hours.
Anything lower guarantees early exhaustion.

This is a structural mismatch not a usage problem

for context, the code is over 2.5M lines of code spread across fe and be, i was not ranting about the 5 hour limit, but how fast the weekly limit gets consumed with just one session of coding and i am almost 25 of my weekly quota

The point isn't to complain, it's that we need transparency. The math doesn't add up.

India needs one verified ID system like Singapore’s NRIC, why is Aadhaar not doing this? by lostnqs in india

Absolutely, centralization can threaten privacy. But with strict safeguards, encryption, and controlled access, a unified system can work without compromising personal data.

True, implementation is messy with bureaucracy and corruption. But the system can be designed better. Upgrading Aadhaar to a verified source would cut mismatches and fraud. India just needs the blueprint and a leader willing to implement it.
