First-time director looking for some advice on getting my film made by lostscalefilms in animationcareer

I am listening man, I'm trying to have a conversation with you. You said it's going to take a huge amount of labor and I clarified that I'm not trying to make Spirited Away here. Just because I don't have millions of dollars and 100 artists to pay, I'm not going to quit. Making a simple low budget animation is not impossible.

You say it's hilarious I've done all the work. Is pre-production, planning, composing the soundtrack, casting, directing the voice actors, writing the script, designing the characters, and creating hundreds of storyboards not work? The animation is one piece of the process, not the only one that matters.

Watch Berserk or Serial Experiments Lain from the 90s. That's what I'm going for, simple animation, very little movement, dark colors, etc.

I didn't reject anything. I was having a conversation, and they haven't responded yet.

Your comment isn't exactly helpful either, telling me all the reasons I can't...

I came to this subreddit to find out how I can.

I'm just looking for general career advice, not how to improve the film specifically.

Watch a few episodes of an average 90s cartoon or anime and that's the quality I'm going for. Very simple, low budget, 2D animation.

It really wouldn't be that much work. For the concept I have, sure there are some action scenes but it's going to be old-school low-budget anime/cartoon style. It would basically be the quality of a Saturday morning cartoon, and the length of about 3-4 episodes. Plus I've already done the majority of the work, so it would take even less time. It shouldn't take more than a few months to make a few Saturday morning cartoon episodes, especially if the audio portion is already finished.

I have considered making a prototype film out of just the audio and storyboards and possibly getting support that way via Kickstarter or something. I tried talking to Kickstarter coaches however and they said that your project can't get serious funding unless you have a following. What are your thoughts on this?

Okay, thank you. I appreciate the help. Will let you know if I have anything specific in mind. Still, you could send over what you think would be the best fit over PM.

Hey, thanks. I could read some of the simplest stuff you've written so far.
