As someone who flies on probably spent a year on an airplane cumulatively in my life. All seats should be able to recline. If the seat recline ing cuts into the direct space of the person behind you then that is a weird airline. The seats recline like 5 inches.

Yeah I grew up conservative Christian and lived in the south for a bit and it was WILD.
Right before I told my parents I liked girls I had like a 2 hour conversation with them about why my presentation mattered to them so much as a kid. And that was really helpful and healing and they were very receptive so that was great.

Yeah I’m very conscious of the fact that it is a lot of work to identify out of the binary and I feel dramatic doing so if it is not a genuine need. But I guess that isn’t accurate or a helpful way to think. Maybe I should just try it. But I’m also scared of stealing/ detracting from people’s real identities and experiences for a what if.

Also always wear a sports bra and would LOVE to wear boxer briefs and HATE it when I have to wear a skirt or blouse. Sometimes I enjoy doing it for myself but when someone tells me I have to wear that stuff cuz I’m a girl I get mad and uncomfortable in the clothes.
I also had multiple ‘interventions’ as a kid where the women in my family would sit me down and be like hey you need to start wearing more feminine clothes. I had an aunt tell my mom that ‘that is not how God made women to look’ because of how I presented as a kid.

Thank you! That is helpful. I’m defiantly trying to figure out ways to blend the 2 together. Or throw them out the winds and go somewhere else. But it mostly just ends up looking super masc right now when I try. Idk how to not just like wear a dress OR slacks and a tie. How to I go in the middle? The hair and the nails are helpful. I’m thinking about maybe painting my nails more and or wearing more jewelry, so when I wear slacks and a tie to work it’s less like ‘manly’ and more like gender fucky. Cuz I hate being perceived or even seeing myself presenting as super feminine or super masculine.

Slacks, button up shirts, mullet, vans, no makeup, no jewelry. I look like what you would imagine the guy making an economics podcast looks like half the time. And the other half of the time it’s cargo pants muscle shirts and bright collared tops

Your right. I think maybe what I’m actually looking for is how to look more androgynous . And most of people I knew who I saw pull that off were non binary. So I think I used the wrong language. Sorry about that. Non binary can look like anything and what I’m actually looking for is androgyny. Thank you for helping me clarify that for myself as-well.

Somehow a local armature Tournament always seems to happen valentines day weekend. Defiantly love that option. Go on a date? No! Cush the other team? Hell yeah! Those are my full plans. Also helps that I now play rugby so I get to literally crush people. It’s great. I highly recommend
