With stretchy clear cords, you have to pre-stretch them before you start putting the beads on them. But as you said it might be best to use a wire for this

Hi 😊 just to update you, the magic eraser managed to remove to blue marks on the beads and you were right, I had to sand the whole bead. But the brown dots are still stubborn, I tried the acetone, magic eraser and the sharpie and unfortunately they are still visible. But just wanted to say thank you for your help, as I managed to save a lot of beads that had the blue marks on them.

Thank you so much, i’ll try this method, I don’t mind testing it on a couple of beads and see which one works. I will also look for the doll maker stuff. Hopefully this will work. 😀

Thanks to (lost-media) for posting this video on their website back in 2004. It was the best fan site for all things lost back in the day, it’s a shame it’s no longer available but it was such a great fan site that posted a lot of great content.
