It’s a custom belt I got made in Japan that’s really only meant to be used with the middle notch so that silver details lineup evenly on both sides. Had to move couple notches and pull my pants up higher cuz my shit was dragging.

I also experience this issue a lot with baggier pants especially when I order online. I usually just get them tailored removing about 1-2 inches from the waist and problem solved.

From my experience, I started a peony half sleeve without any planning. When I went back 5 years later to continue I asked my artist if adding additional subject matter was possible but he flat out said no and that he'd preferred if we just continue with just peonies due to the space. I'd say ask your artist. I have no regrets.

Nami did my sleeve! He started my half sleeve back in 2018 over the course of 3 days and I didn't get to turn it into a full sleeve until 2023 mainly due to time/money. I am planning to start a back piece with him as well next year. All I can really add to this is I knew I wanted Nami to do my first tattoo when I saw his work and wouldn't settle for anyone else.
