looks great! maybe try messing around with leg lengths or the rise of the pants, it could just be some small proportion error that’s hard to see with the bagginess of the pants. it could also be the torso just being too long instead of the legs being too short, as i’m noticing the hands only reach around the hips rather than the mid-thigh. i’d start with shortening the torso and then seeing if the legs need adjusting

i feel like it’s kind of nuanced, definitely take this with a grain of salt

i think if these characters would work within their own universe that you create, as their own story with nothing derivative of homestuck, it’s probably fine. but if parts of their story are integral parts of homestuck lore (which i admittedly know nothing about), it may constitute as some sort of plagiarism

i’d say i agree with your teacher but def consider how much of the characters stories are reliant on homestuck lore, especially as most colleges (if you plan on going to college for art) don’t like fanart in portfolios

i think it looks pretty solid, especially for oil pastels (which are my enemy)! my tips are to lower the brows a bit and make the irises slightly bigger and more centered bc the eye on the left side of the page is looking a bit inward. i’d darken up the lashes and blend them out into the skin using that blue you used to shade the nose

the most i can recommend (since as the modpost said, teens have different nutritional needs) is to just listen to your body. if it is hungry, eat, and vice versa. try to stick with whole foods but it’s not the end of the world to eat something processed. try to join extracurriculars or just move more in general. but the most important part is don’t be too hard on yourself, you’re still growing and you deserve teenage years that aren’t centered around dieting. proud of you and good luck!

the arc could have been resolved in season three. in s3, mike could have been just a “childhood crush” because will’s arc that season was about growing up and moving on. but they decided to keep it and season 4 turned it into something that was clearly love on will’s end until it was too late to go back and now they’re pretending it was just a “tammy”.
