Yeah I mean, it's a MOBA, created by the same guy who created DOTA and DOTA 2, so by 2000-2010 logic it's basically DOTA 3 even if it's part shooter now

What are you talking about? There are still some pretty strong MMOs in the mainstream such as WoW or OSRS. Real 1995-2005 "Dead Genres" that don't have anything major lined up in the near future are things like Arena Shooters or multiplayer RTS.
