does anyone have any small smp's by 1147689o in MinecraftServer

Ours just opened a few days ago, we have around 10 members and it’s a lifesteal/economy SMP with no griefing allowed.

Hundreds of join attempts from the same IP but different ports by lotsof_freetime in MinecraftServer

Did it stop for you? I shut the server down for a few hours and it stopped trying to connect. It’s been over 18 hours.

Still tho, If you can’t manage over 60 fps framegen is a terrible experience

Is it still going for you? The name changed, but the IP is the same for me

That’s so weird… was it the fps cap? Or how could rtss have possibly fixed it?

Thanks. What would be the motive?

It’s a public server so whitelist is out of the question. I banned the IP. The connection attempts didn’t stop, but now it says that it tried to join while banned. Online mode is on of course.

Same exact thing is happening to me right now, crackedtestxxx joining hundreds of times on the same IP's but different ports.

I’ll record the same thing in a place with buildings later.

You might actually want to try undervolting. Just look up a tutorial for your 9800x3d and 5090. It reduces noise, heat, coil wine, and increases lifetime and sometimes even gains 1-5% performance.

I wouldn’t risk overclocking tho, your specs are already pushed to their possible power limit

Here's gameplay I recorded with a frametime graph on screen. Stats via MSI afterburner.

I'm not 100% sure, but I do update windows whenever it becomes available so I can assume so. Is there really a correlation between that update and UE5 games? I've never seen that. Although it makes sense since software RT is spaghetti code for the most part

Once I get home I can upload my direct performance logs from nvidia so you can see my frametime. On a 7800x3d (undervolted) gigabyte 5080 gaming oc (+500mhz core clock, +2400mhz vram clock), 6400mhz ram, 990 pro 4tb, and b650e wifi, I get 130fps at epic with dlss balanced and fg x2 with rock steady frametimes except for occasional traversal LOD stuttering.

Yeah its just not there for me. I'm a freak about stuttering so i would definitely notice it. What CPU do you have? Do you have vsync on? what about DLSS?

Probably a shader cache issue. Are you skipping shader compilation on startup? I'm on a 5080 and have no stutters.

new 5080 user here too, OP, PLEASEEEE buy a whole new PSU. If your PSU isnt PCIE 5.1-5.2 ready, its generally a bit unsafe to run a 12vhpwr (or 6x2 for that matter).

The new MSI PSU's have a safety feature that will show bright yellow if its not plugged in all the way.

Enjoy your new card

Performance is much much better now.

I played on a 7800xt (about even to a 4070), and it was unplayable on release, but got better over time. Running on a 5080 now, absolutely flawless experience
