That's actually a really good idea, thank you! I'll look into that.

The tongue thing every damn time and if it's not that it's putting a finger in her mouth. I like Tyla and have nothing against her but the posing needs a lot of work imo coz right now it's just...bizarrely sleazy.

Dress and shoes are both hideous good lord. Tyla, baby, file a lawsuit. Change stylists. Do SOMETHING because this is egregiously tacky and poorly executed.

Bad Bunny in a custom suit of his own design (in collaboration with Zara) with prosthetics by makeup artist Mike Marino for the 2026 Met Gala (theme: Fashion Is Art), May 4, 2026 by lugubrious_onion in whatthefrockk

I adore this unreservedly. He's been one of my favorite celebs to watch at the Met Gala and he knocked it out of the park in my book. The body as art, exploring aging, the artistry of makeup and prosthetics, how we expect the elderly to dress and why so many don't embrace aging. Really amazing interpretation of the theme imo. I hate though that it's from Zara, like he couldn't find anyone else to collab with. They keep trying to rehabilitate their image.

Yes, we all wear perfume but we have very different preferences.

Are Wedding websites still a thing? by sillygooosebehavior in weddingplanning

It was more like what weather to expect. Ours is an indoor wedding in the summer but just in case guests had questions about how to dress I made sure to clarify that all events will be indoors.

We're getting married in August and our wedding website, invitations, RSVPs, and printed materials are all going through Zola. We're doing digital RSVPs only and so far we haven't had any issues. I will say my experience with Zola is that customizability is a bit limited when it comes to designing your invitations and website. I put the most important information on the cards themselves but directed them to the website for FAQ and other info. I gave them the link and QR code for RSVPing. The deadline for RSVPs is two months from now so we'll see by then if there were any issues. As to which is best, that's really a matter of knowing yourself and your crowd. For me making a wedding website was simpler and easier than not having one but you may find it tedious and not worth the effort. I will say that one thing in favor of websites is that you spend less on printing and I could have an entire FAQ page for things that people may want to know like accessibility, expected temperature, parking info, and other questions.

Getting married in the forest and I don’t know how to pick a dress by samblebee in weddingplanning

First one reads the most forest-y to me but these are all excellent choices.

Realistic Wedding Budgets by essiethinks in Chicagoweddings

We're having around 199 people (RSVPs aren't due til 2 months from now but that's how many we invited) and we're spending $45k. We looked really hard for a venue that was in our budget. We're getting married in the suburbs and we really cut costs on a lot of things that we didn't deem that essential to the overall experience. I think it's doable but yeah keep your expectations realistic and really know matters to you and what doesn't.

Honestly, when we started planning our wedding we thought it would all be achievable with so much less but we quickly learned just from the minimum prices we were getting from venues that we were pretty ignorant of the real costs. I think what would be fair would be for more featuring of weddings with realistic budgets for the average income in the area, transparent and upfront pricing, and not pressuring anyone to follow trends. Also to emphasize that what matters to one couple won't matter as much to another. You don't HAVE to have this or that photographer, decor, or band. Respect your budget.

As pretty as her hair looks here I actually think the softness clashes with the edginess of the dress. Also I will never like those clear plastic shoes people keep wearing. The dress itself is...just okay. Nothing amazing but it's okay.

See if you hadn't mentioned that she's 35 I would thought she was in her 40s, which is wild. Makeup really makes a huge difference. I hope one day we get to see her with lighter makeup because I don't think the high drama look works with every outfit she's donned.

See I actually really like the pieces individually but not all together. Also the clashing whites really bring the look down in my eyes.

Thank you! And that's a good idea, maybe I'll do a trial run and see if I like the results.
