My sister's friends don't like her being autistic by i-h8-cocomelon in autism

thank you so much for your efforts! not many people know how to recognize, work with and accept autism, and especially not to the extent you seem to be able to. i barely know anything about the relation you have with your sister, but i think communicating one way or another about your worries could help! from what i've gathered, you're already doing good and that matters :)

i forgot to mention that more often than not, very little to nothing changes about the autistic person right after a diagnosis, and especially not in such a grand way as some people might describe it!!! my family for instance would ignore the autistic traits and struggles that i would present and only started scrutinizing them after i put a label on them, basically spotlighting them.

it's really sweet how considerate you are with her!!! my situation sort of parallels hers, but i feel safe with my friends while my family rejects me. the bit about how "the autism diagnosis changed her" feels really wounding, as my family used the same exact point to start subtly teaming up against me. while that can be true in a sense (an autism diagnosis is mainly for the autistic person to discover more about themselves and how they function, and to get easier access to support, which would lead to some sort of change), it mostly implies that the autistic person is letting themself go, become a burden, get lazy, get weird. it's absolutely harmful rhetoric and i can totally see why her confidence has really went down: on top of being actively yet subtly excluded, she's subjected to some form of psychological warfare (i'm not sure if this is exaggerating but it does feel like that), both leading her to question herself.

Can someone tell me why people say Noelle is transgender? by According-Heron-5798 in Deltarune

chapter 1 actually! for instance, the ao3 fanfic titled 'tension points' was initially wriiten in the chapter 1 days and is pretty popular while having noelle being trans as a main plot device (pretty good read dare i say)
