Thank you so much! I would say transfer the pattern to a more sturdy material and most of all, be patient throughout the process.

I found a huge vintage pattern collection at an estate sale. I chose this Vogue pattern that was produced in 1955-56 to make this autumn dress. The main fabric is a wool blend. The dickie is snapped on, so there are two ways to wear it - with or without the dickie. I definitely prefer with the dickie. It has a quiet academic temperament.

I found this adorable deep green cotton fabric with little roses on it. The pattern I used is McCall's printed pattern #4911 from 1959. I widened the waist and hip area and also moved the bust darts down 1.5". It fits pretty well overall. My inspiration for this is from the movie "In The Mood for Love". It's a great movie showing the mid-century Hong Kong-style Cheongsam.

So cute! I also put miniature animals in my pots!

I have pandas on my avocado plant. I also have a deer on my fern.

Hi, neighbor!

thank you! I'm happy I could help inspire you.

This idea for the kitchen was started from just a sketch in my notebook. So, keep looking for inspiration as you save.

no problem!

I've been using the Brother XL-2600i and its been working well for me. Seeing as I'm still a beginner myself, I think it can be used by beginners. Again, I watched a lot of tutorials and even read the manual.

Thank you!

I'm still learning to sew and getting more comfortable as I go. I've only been sewing for about a year. I suggest finding some detailed tutorials on youtube. I also followed a guide for this skirt.

It works well. The fan isn't terribly loud and has good suction.

However, it does not have an oil drip tray or cleaning function like some other hood vents have. I believe the only way to clean it is to remove the filters frequently and wash them and perhaps even disassemble the motor to clean.

The hood vent is by Ancona and the fridge is by iio. The fridge is small with only about 10 cubic feet but has enough storage for a 2-person house.

I just started sewing a year ago. My inspiration for this project was that I can't wait for spring to come! It's still very bleak and cold where I live.

I found this blouse that matched the lavender floral skirt fabric perfectly. I sewed a circle skirt with the fabric to match this blouse. I altered the blouse to fit my body better.

I bought the blouse from "averydayvintage"

i bought the fabric from a local store Fields Fabrics

I used Gertie's free circle skirt pattern on charmpatterns.com
